Good morning Kat and Dale

Uggggg tooo dang cold. We got you both beat though at 38.

Nope, wish we could just stick with daylight savings time. I feel the time change for days after and it stinks. :nah:

Day 1 of vacation!! Woot!! No soccer, no parties, but a whole lotta cleaning going on. :D Hope you all have a marvelous day!
Hey! It's 26 here! :w00t: Supposed to warm up to 50s.
I hate time changes, too. Pick one and stay with it. Really screws with sleep patterns, and I never feel well, for, at least a week or more. Just throws off everything.

I know, I got out the sunscreen and the bathing suit. Too bad the pool is closed

I sent DH to the store with an extensive list. Send me yours and I’ll have him head your way when he gets home. He did just drive home from Atlanta this week, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind Arkansas ;)

Hope you’ve already been and are home now, Dale.
Nope, hadn’t even left yet  We left around 12:30, had lunch and shopped, back home around 2:30 I think it was

    More like a winter's day here, today....ugh...

Enjoy your evening, Lurkers.....until tomorrow.....stay well, sweet dreams...:)
Yes ma’am, it’s been cold. We’ve got a bumper crop of hickory nuts, I’ve heard that means a hard winter :?:

No, newp, nope, no how, no way. I refuse to believe we are going to have a rough winter. Nope!!

Glad your home, Dale ;) sweet dreams, Kat :)

Uggg kiddo was being a pisser tonight. Sent him to bed really early for the night. You know what he said? I didn’t even have to go to bed this early in Kindergarten. Little does he know, it’s only 6:20 thanks to having to turn the clocks back  so yeah, yeah he’s right. Ugh I am going to pay for this tomorrow, aren’t I?

Tried a new meatloaf recipe for dinner. Omgosh, it was amazing.

    Let’s hope :)

Yeah, I’m not sure what’s up with him. Tween stage? He did get a bit of time with his video games today because there was no soccer, but did stop when I asked him to do xyz, which was frequent and didn’t give me a problem with it. Could be he was tired. I can hear him snoring away.

I saw it on the food network, United States of Meatloaf. It had beef, pork and veal. I sautéed onions and garlic before I mixed them with the meat. Saltines, for the binder, eggs too. It was moist and flavorful. Recipe is definitely a keeper and I will make it for a family dinner, next time.

Gonna watch some tv before bed. Sweet dreams Dale and lurkers

Yeah he’s probably starting that rough time, don’t envy you.

Oh I see, we use beef and sausage ourselves :thumb: Oatmeal makes a good exchange for saltines if you’re interested.

    Good night Sara

Good night lovely and handsome Lurkers :)

    Good morning ladies

Lovely breakfast Dale, mmmm I could eat a plate of the biscuits and gravy.

Yep, was up at 5 o_O ugg.

Hmmm, oatmeal. That sounds interesting. Will have to try it. What kind of oatmeal? Old fashioned oats, steel cut oats or the quick oats? We have the quick oats in the pantry.

I was up earlier than you :p
Doesn’t matter what kind of oats, whatever you have around; you’ll never know it’s in there ;)

    Good morning all.
Feels later than it is!! Lol's ;)

Ugh, absolutely DETEST the time change, but I agree, was nice that it was light earlier...sort of....by an hour.

Trying to clean some, don't wanna....
Hi Lori  Too late to wish you good morning

The worst part of the time change is having to fix all these clocks  Since I don’t have to get up for work it doesn’t effect me in that way.
