I’m sorry your neck is bothering you, Joey. Hope it’s a little easier for you tonight.

Awwww, love butterflies, Dale. Would love to just sit out on the porch and watch.

We did get our instacart order this afternoon. A lot of what we requested, some replacements and a few things refunded because they were out of stock. The girl texted me via the app while she shopped, sending pics and then she drove up to the house and left everything on the porch. While I was totally impressed with the process, it would definitely only be something utilized under emergencies like this.
Glad you got most of what you needed Sara, was it terribly expensive?

This will last us hopefully the rest of this “shelter in place” I did add some frivolous things (Easter candy) but also shopped for the future (spices, chili seasonings, cornmeal, dry beans, whole chicken)

Everything is wiped down and put away. (All I had to do) and honestly we shouldn’t have to shop for at least a month now, if not more.

Thanks Joey, I’m feeling much better than I was a few days ago. I’ve decided I couldn’t have lived during the depression. Not because I couldn’t live on what my ancestors did but because I’m not currently living like that and have no idea how to get started. we don’t have gardens outside nor chickens. I don’t save my bacon grease (but I might start) I had to order yeast. I need my sour cream and butter. I’m totally willing to learn how to, just moreso do I have what I need to do so. Chances are, no. Lololol

We are starting up an indoor garden. My basil and chives are coming up nicely. I think the thyme has had all the time it needs and just isn’t going to grow. Ordered some potting soil for gardens and seeds so we can grow tomatoes, peppers and strawberries (probably a few more things too) I got a bunch of green onions from the store, so I will chop the ends off and try to regrow those and we have some garlic bulbs.

I’m in the same boat, can’t grow vegetables on rocks
    Rationing has begun ;)

It did upfront for sure. But it should last a month or more.
    Hopefully :thumb:

Off to change and watch NCIS, have a pleasant evening Sara and Joey

Good morning Dale and lurkers

Me too!! Tried to play an April Fools joke on kiddo but he wasn’t having it. Lol too smart. I got up at my usual time. Went in and woke him up saying the school called last night and it’s back to school. Gotta get up so you don’t miss the bus. He yawned and said it’s 4/1. April Fools day. From a sound sleep :lol::lol::lol:

    Good afternoon

I know the feeling Joey. Definitely get something on those hands of yours. I’ve been using aquaphor or Vaseline.

Hiya, ladies :) he’s definitely too smart for his own good sometimes. Lol.

And absolutely miserable. It’s official, spring break has been canceled for the kids of NY by the governor. The school is working prepare lesson plans for the next two weeks.
