Good morning Jimmy :)

It’s a beautiful cool morning here today. Going to get hot tomorrow:(

It's about 11C/51F and raining... been raining all night and there is no sky in sight still... all clouds. If I didn't know better I wouldn't be able to tell you where the Sun is in the sky right now, lol, it's just all thick clouds. Of course, as I typed that I spied a little bit of sky peaking between clouds :)

Good morning all.

Thank you Joey, stay safe at work! :nun: Thank you for the prayers.

Sara, so sorry about your devices, what I have are so old, I'd be afraid to send them.

Dale, I'm with you, I could stay in forever I think, but making a run to DG. I'll have my mask, sanitizer, and will take some wipes too. :)
DH has been doing the shopping when necessary, this will be my first, other than convenience store for a gal. of milk, since the first of March.

Sunny and supposed to be beautiful today, but cooler, warming to 70's tomorrow and 80's for Sat.

That doesn’t sound nice but maybe there’s hope yet for some sunshine:)

    Good morning Lori
I haven’t been to a store since March 17th, DH has been doing all our shopping since he’s out there anyway. Of course I’ve order some things online.

We’re heading for the upper 80’s starting tomorrow

Good morning lurkers  Happy Fri-yay!!

Been up for about an hour already  I see an early bedtime in my future.

Joey, you are definitely a kind, generous soul. Always thinking of others. Thank you. I am good. I ordered a handful of them when the ban passed. I should be ok for awhile.

3 day weekend. Woot!! But then I gotta work MWF next week. Uggg.

Good evening Dale and Joey :)

Uggg I know the money is good but 12?? You make sure you are taking care of yourself.

Aww, Dale. Missed you guys too!! I got home and went straight to making dinner. Pork chops, mashed white & sweet tates and salad. Then we broke out a board game because kiddo is about to lose his mind. We’ve been so wrapped up in our own stuff, school work for him and not taking advantage of this extra time with him as much as we should be.

School has now been canceled for the remainder of the academic year.

The sun is finally shining after rain most of the day. We are looking forward to a decent weekend for once. Both days mid 60s.

Hope you’re all having a good one!

    Hi Sara :)
Never heard of mashed potatoes with both types before :?:
Bet your kiddo is getting bored after having such an active life in sports :(

Glad you have a nice weekend to look forward to :thumb:

I have been working 12hr shifts mostly for around 20 years. Definitely taking a toll on this old body of mine :lol: I am being careful about how I do anything to avoid any pain, if something happens I will call the dr to take me out again or my wife will kill me for the insurance money :lol:

    Good morning lurkers

Amazing how when you aren’t working, you are up before the alarm and when you have to work you don’t want to get up. :?: Was awake before 5:30. Could be the sun is rising earlier. We’ll have to experiment come Monday  Lots to do today :)

Dale, we had some sweet tates on the verge of being turned into doggie treats so I cubed them as I would white and boiled them together. Drained, added milk and butter and mashed. They were sweeter than normal because the ratio of white/sweet was off but the boys gobbled them up. Hopefully next time we’ll have the choice of making them versus needing to use them if that makes sense.

I’m glad you aren’t one of those stubborn kinds, Joey ;) I’d wager a guess you’d be in trouble on here too.:lol::lol:

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday.

I know exactly what you mean about waking up early on days off and wanting to sleep till noon on work days

Understand about the potatoes, we had some that would have gone bad so I boiled them. Made potato soup and potato cakes so far .... reminds me we have one more tub I need to do something with.
