Good morning lovely and handsome Lurkers :)

Good morning Joey
20 years eh? No wonder your body is calling it quits ;)

Good morning Sara
I know exactly what you mean about waking up early on days off and wanting to sleep till noon on work days

Understand about the potatoes, we had some that would have gone bad so I boiled them. Made potato soup and potato cakes so far .... reminds me we have one more tub I need to do something with.
We made potato pancakes for the first time during this situation. They were really good. Usually I freeze the leftovers and DH will use them when he makes pierogis. Which we had last night. Yum!

Hiya Classwife  hope all is well in your neighborhood. Glad you dropped in.

Dale, it’s dough stuffed with mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, sauerkraut, quark or farmer cheese, cabbage, meat, mushrooms, spinach. Just depends on what you like. We traditionally do tates, cheddar and onion. Then we fry them in butter with more chopped onion.

    You know me...technologically challenged. ;)

The website is justapinch dot com. Recipe is Pittsburgh pierogies. DH said depending on how much filling you have you may want to consider doubling the recipe should you want to try them. He always ends up with leftover filling and not enough dough. It makes roughly 3 dozen and we don’t eat all that. We will fry a dozen and freeze the rest for a few more dinners.

Stay safe at the store Joey. :( Grab extra meat if you can while your out. Just in case ;).

Hope you can try them out, Dale. You can always buy frozen to try and they are good. But homemade is always better

We grilled out this evening. Not as warm here as you guys only about 60 but we had hot dogs, macaroni salad and kiddo made him and I a deviled egg. Tomorrow, burgers with the leftover salad. Should be around 60ish again.

Got a lot accomplished today. Feeling pretty good. Hope you all are too!

    Good morning lurkers

I don’t understand why people are so selfish! In my office which is “half” staffed, only 2 people wear masks the entire time and one of those people is me

My mom called me last night to inform me that my cousin who works in a nursing home brought the virus home (still lives at home) and both her and my aunt have tested positive. Sounds like they have a mild form of it thank goodness.
