Got to try out my Detroit pizza pan last night. I’d post a pic but it wasn’t very pretty. It was amazing and totally like take out pizza. Definitely not something we can eat weekly

This gloomy rainy weather is getting boring, think I’ll go lay down.

This gloomy rainy weather is getting boring, think I’ll go lay down.

Not raining yet. But certainly looks like it’s going to. Bah!

My parents stopped by with homemade Mac and Cheese. I made them cookies in exchange. Lol We had a nice visit although a little chilly out. Kiddo in the pool, Dh dipping his feet in and the three of us in chairs more than 6ft apart. Think I’m going to need to make them a little more than cookies for all the food they’ve been bringing us. I did give mom a clipping from my basil plant for her to regrow her own.

Gosh, I miss them so much. Every time they are here kiddo tries to get close for a hug and I feel like a monster for telling him no. They are always out and about “safely” and dad is working, factory, more and more people coming back to work each week. Our numbers are still rising, of course because we have more tests available. I know it’s been bad here all along. Sorry to vent. I know it’s rough for everyone.

How is it looking where you all are? Have you hit the apex yet?

Have you had Detroit style pizza? I didn’t know a thing about it until I saw it on an episode of the kitchen. Looked fairly easy and delicious.

Definitely crazy times. I just wish we could have been testing like this all along. We’d have had a better feel for things. I’m on other message boards that sound like they are at where we were a few weeks ago.

I’ve lost track of the count. Stopped watching Cuomo’s press conferences. Bunch of the same ole same ole. We have to meet 7/7 on a metric system to be able to start reopening. Two days before the PAUSE was supposed to end we were at 5/7. A day before it ended we dropped to 4/7. Two hours after his conference on the day it was supposed to end and he extended it for WNY we went back up to 5/7. So much for a 3 day average. Now today we are at 6/7 Just goes to show you what a bunch of bs it truly is. I’m not really sure which way I lean. On one hand I don’t want things to reopen too early and on the other hand we need to get back to business as usual and learn to live with this until a vaccine or whatever is available. Herd immunity and whatnot.
