    Hiya Dale and Sara :)

What has me is as soon as we started pea’s fresh pack started without having posted the new days off schedule. If they don’t post it I will be working 11 or 14 days in a row. I don’t really mind working weekends anymore, I just want my 2 days off

Dale don’t you like to play chauffeur
I’d be asking about that schedule

    ‘I don’t mind chauffeuring but I hate being stuck home car-less :p

Oh hell naw!! Everyone deserves a break. Especially in your line of work. That bleep is hard, yo. Been there done that. Not food though. Saw blades and I was just a youngin’ :w00t:

Haha Dale is driving Mr Daisy. ;) kidding. I couldn’t imagine being a one car household.

Made a couple Father’s Day cards today and my parent’s anniversary card. Dh is making baked ziti because it’s only 62 out
:( better warm up this coming week or I will be angry. I’d like to be able to use the pool before I’m chained to my desk. Talked with DH and he is really pushing for me to put my 2 weeks in, but I can’t, it wouldn't be wise.
Because of your retirement or finances ?

I too am glad your shop steward is on top of this! Fingers crossed for a good outcome.

Hiya Dale. This weekend was only around 60 outside. Too cold for me to swim but it’s supposed to warm up tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Grilled bbq seasoned chicken and veggies, air fried sweet tates for dinner. I have a new spice combo for the sweet tates. It’s Bbq of the America’s from Penzey’s. Too sweet for chicken (we used it once and no one really liked it) So I used it on sweet tates and it’s perfect for them. It’s strong on the cinnamon/nutmeg.

Hmmm. That’s weird considering you love baked. Did you make them or someone else? We cube the sweet potato(s), drizzle some olive oil and usually use the McCormick garlic pepper seasoning grinder on them. Before we got the air fryer/toaster oven appliance we roasted in the oven at 350 until fork tender.

Now that we have the air fryer/toaster oven (which I only bought because it replaced our toaster oven) I still drizzle in olive oil and air fry at 350 for about 8-9 min. Flipping half way through.

Dh received a gift card for Penzey’s for Christmas. He bought the weird bbq seasoning thinking it would be great on chicken. He made it and I thought it was way too sweet. So the next time I made the sweet tates I had a brainstorm moment and tried this seasoning. They turned out really well. You could use any seasoning you prefer on the sweet tates.

I got them at a restaurant I think, it’s been a long time back. I’ll have to give them another chance;) Thanks for the info.

I wasn’t a fan of sweet potatoes. I prefer mashed or French fries. Dh loves the sweet so I tried and have developed a taste for them over the last few years. Of course that if *I* make them

Really? I’ve always loved them with butter and cinnamon sugar :) Or just butter.
