Yup, I slept in until 6:15
wanted to get some stuff done before I head out to clean the pool. Did some laundry, picked up and got some vegetarian sauce going in the crockpot.
Never made sauce in the crockpot but I didn’t want to be tied to the stove today. We have tons of zucchini and summer squash to use up. I’ve made veggie sauce before but on the stove. How bad could it be

I was whooped when I got home I wasn’t up much longer after my post.
The heat in that plant last night was ridiculous and tonight will be worse with 8 cookers running at 264 degrees.
I have made tomato sauce in a crockpot before, came out the same cooking in a pot on the stove
Oh boy Joey I’m sorry it’s so hot in there.
So far soo good. I used 2 jars of canned tomatoes, a small can of tomato sauce, couple tbsp of paste, Penzey's Frozen pizza seasoning blend (basically Italian seasonings) couple pinches of red pepper flakes, olive oil, summer squash, zucchini, mushrooms, some grated pecorino and a wee bit of sugar. Smells amazing and tastes pretty good. It’s been in the crockpot all day.
And I think me gots a little bit of sunburn today even with using sunscreen should turn to tan tomorrow.

That heat is exhausting, and I thought it was hot at the meat shop 
Be careful you don’t get heat exhaustion, that’s a nasty feeling.

Yeah it was brutal for awhile, I drink a lot of water and go to the a/c break room if I feel to heated.
