Good morning Joey and Dale

Hope the Tylenol worked, Joey. Glad dinner was really good. She has a good teacher and I’m not talking the internet although it is a helpful tool too. ;)

I used to have Facebook but I got rid of it. I do not like Zuckerberg and what he stands for. I searched for chick/biscuits and have a few recipes I’d like to try, just wondered if you guys had a tried and true.

I prefer creamy soups to broth. But I do like a bowl of homemade chicken noodle or minestrone from time to time.
    Good morning Sara
Yeah FB is not what it was when I joined.

Fell asleep around 4a after the tylenol broke the fever.

Dannielle paid attention the last time I cooked I used a meat thermometer to check the food. She is learning which makes me happy :w00t:

Facebook is a tool I use to keep in touch with people.

Learning to cook is an important tool in life :thumb:
My mother didn’t teach me to cook so there was a lot of trial and error in the beginning ;). No internet back then either.
Thank goodness for home economics, too bad they stopped teaching that in school:(

    Hiya Dale

Learning the hard way is rough, I wish they would bring back home economic and shop classes back into school. Kids need to learn the basic things.

Yes I agree, seems like they don’t actually teach much anymore. Not anything useful anyway :|

    Good morning lurkers:wub:

Agree with everything you two said! Wish I had been younger, remote school is horrible but thank goodness, as long as he’s stays covid free, we can send him 2 days. It’s not enough by a long shot but he at least gets some in the building learning time/socially distant interaction.

    Good morning! Here you go:

    CHEESE BISCUITS (Red Lobster copycat)
    2 c flour
    ½ c cheddar
    1/4 c butter
    1/4 t garlic powder
    2/3 c milk
    1 T b. powder
Mix the first 4 ingredients. Drop dough into mounds on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 450° for 10-12 min. Mix melted butter and garlic and brush over warm biscuits.
