Finally found Bush’s purple hull peas today! Been months since I had seen any
Supper was baked chicken thighs, sunflower crunch salad and purple hull peas simmered in salsa.

Never had purple hulled peas. Glad you were able to find them. I didn’t feel like cooking yesterday so I had cereal and the boys had leftovers of whatever was in the fridge. Tonight is spaghetti with meat sauce.

Not really a fan of any peas, but I will eat them in fried rice or casseroles (tuna or that turkey one I just made)

Ohhhhhhh, those are like beans? We can definitely buy Bush’s here, but I don’t know about those. Been awhile since I’ve been in the stores. We buy their seasoned chili beans and their baked beans.
