morning, well erm night now...

I've been out of commission the past few days....donno, woke up wednesday morning and my back was killing me....apparently while asleep several discs slipped out of place and pinched some nerves...
yesterday was slightly better, I could move but still hurt....I did everything yesterday to relieve it...shoved pillows under my back and sides, laid in weird positions, stretched as much as my back would allow....finally early yesterday evening way down near my tailbone some discs popped and relieved some of the tension but not enough to really do anything....then as I was trying to sleep near the middle of my back came a loud crack and omg it hurt so much but felt so good....today I can move but still stiff and sore but more muscle pain and a bit of nerve pain....pretty sure a few discs are still out of place but it's tolerable, back to normal threshold of pain....

morning....feeling much better today...still stiff and sore but so much better....just still a bit difficult to bend my back but meh nothing much more than what I'm used to...

my new computer arrived today...working on setting it up and getting everything moved over to it....need a new keyboard though, I dug out one of my old ones but it's a bit messed up, keys keep sticking...hehehe i mean ya know it's been through 2 kids, it's fairly well beat up. It did come with a keyboard and mouse but meh they are just the crappy pos that comes with all dell computers.
My laptop crapped out on me, it's been on it's last leg for over a year now, probably over 2 years...but it finally said nope....the screen keeps turning a pink color and randomly just shuts off
hated the thought of replacing it because well that's not cheap...
but I found an all-in-one on amazon for $1,300...still expensive but honestly that's over half off the normal cost
    it's a 2TB HD + a 500GB HD and 32GB RAM :w00t:
it's still an intel i7 but it's a new version than my laptop was
and it came with a decent stand that is height and tilt adjustable, I can also rotate the screen to tablet mode, but I didn't get a touchscreen as I really don't need it...my laptop was touchscreen and I hardly ever used it, it was more annoying than anything especially when it acts up and thinks that I'm touching the screen when I'm not....
bwahahaha it's a 21.5" monitor, freaking huge, it's basically a small tv
the funnier part is that this actually cost less than the laptop which at the time that I bought it was top of the line....
I went with the all-in-one since it was on sale, it's kind of the best of both worlds...it's not a laptop but it's not a desktop so it's not so bulky...if I want to move it to another room, just grab the monitor and go, and well the keyboard and mouse...
laptops were way out of my price range ($3,000 on the low end) and desktops were ok but then I'd still have to buy a monitor, speakers and stuff so by the time you calculate all of that in, it was still cheaper to buy this especially since it was on a heck of a sale.
waiting on the last few things to transfer from my laptop to my external HD and then start moving everything off of it to this pc and be able to free up my external HD again  use it for what it really was meant for, keeping all the pics of my kids on it and music files...

Thanks, Dale. Hope you do as well :) put a beef roast in the crockpot and working on a few things around the house.
We had takeout fish, I refuse to fry fish in the house ;)

    Good evening lurkers

Wow!! Sounds like a good deal, hope it lasts a good long while. Glad you are feeling a bit better, Shad :)

We’ve never done a fish fry but DH has baked some a time or two. It’s a little better than frying. So I seasoned the roast with the Montreal Steak seasoning....wow!! It was so good. Like really good. Like I’m excited for the leftovers
