it was amazing. I’m super excited for future loaves. DH wanted a flour mill (not sure if *he* wanted it or he wanted it for me) I looked online and they are mighty expensive. So I passed on them as a Christmas gift. More research is definitely needed if I want to mill my own. Lol

Why did you stopped using it, Dale?

Well I’m not much of a bread person so it’s pretty hard to maintain interest you know ;) Plus it was a large piece of equipment and we have a small kitchen, there were other things I’d rather have.

Totally understand. DH had one when we first got together and I thought it took up too much counter space andplusalso he NEVER used it and I had never made bread before. So we got rid of it. This one definitely has a smaller footprint which is nice. But when it’s not being used, it will be in its box in a closet, maybe pantry. Not hanging out on the counter. Lol.

I wondered if they had gotten smaller.

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas  Mine was ok the best part was watching Christina open her gifts. I also bought a few things for the kitchen that I hope gets a lot of use. Red was Sue's favorite color so if I found something red I bought it. Kitchenaid stand mixer with the s.s. meat grinder attachment, Food network pot & pan set, food saver, bread machine, s.s. pasta maker, ravioli mold, and 2 can storage racks.

Some short videos of Christina opening gifts.

    Good afternoon lurkers

awww Joey! Love the videos. Thanks for sharing them with us. Enjoy your new toys too! The kitchen aid attachments can be life changing. We got a few last year. I don’t remember what they are but I’ve used them to shred cheese, peel/slice apples and potatoes and made zoodles. We have the pasta maker one too. But I haven’t used it yet.

love the quotes Dale  thank you for breakfast also.

Yum, Shad!! I had a couple of pieces of cubed rye bread with dill dip and a pepsi

Joey, that is awesome!! She did a wonderful job! Love the T-shirt too!

Chicken and stuffing in the crockpot with mashed Tate’s and corn for dinner. We tried to do a loaf of bread again but goofed up timing wise. So looks like we’ll have toast with blueberry jam tomorrow for breakfast. We got a gift box from one of DH’s work people. It had a bunch of stuff from local businesses and the jam was in the box. Looking forward to trying it.

Oh how fun Sara a surprise gift box. I love samples :)

We had Johnson’s jalapeño and cheese sausage dogs for supper.

DH’s company sold this past week and he has a new employer, they gave him a 100 dollar bill for Christmas  Nervous about the change but hoping it works out okay and they keep him on.
