Oh how fun Sara a surprise gift box. I love samples :)

We had Johnson’s jalapeño and cheese sausage dogs for supper.

DH’s company sold this past week and he has a new employer, they gave him a 100 dollar bill for Christmas  Nervous about the change but hoping it works out okay and they keep him on.

Fingers crossed that everything is good. That was a nice, unexpected Christmas gift woot!!

jalapeño & cheese sausage sounds delish!

I’m whooped from being lazy :glare: don’t like this feeling. Gonna get to bed early, get up with the alarm and hit the ground running  Sweet dreams lurkers

I agree with being tired from nothing ... but I won’t be hitting the ground running in the morning

Good night Sara  and lurkers :)

    Good morning Sara

‘I haven’t been up long, waiting for coffee to make
    Good morning Dale

pepsi for me. Bad habit I need to get away from. Most times it’s only 1 can but sometimes it’s 2 and then I switch to water. Dishes washed, gifts put away, working on my 3rd load of laundry.

I’ve been doing dishes and laundry too, taking a while due to pain  Glad I grilled the chicken yesterday while grilling the dogs, that’ll help tonight with supper having that done.

Yeah, you know those sodas are bad for you ;)

Ohh Dale, hope you’re taking it easy now. . Glad you don’t have to worry about dinner too much. We’re having American goulash.

I know, they are so bad for you. Every so often I fall into this rut. Then I snap out of it and don’t drink pop for months. It’s time to get serious again. I’ve gained back everything I worked so hard to lose (thanks to living in a pandemic) and can feel it. Aches, pains, tiredness, no motivation to go beyond what needs to be done.

I’m so sorry to hear that you gained the weight back :( It’s really hard to take it off and keep it off :(

Yum!!! I made green beans as a side too. Don’t know if it really “goes” with, but I do believe it’s important to have a veggie with dinner.

It’s ok :thumb: I know how to do it, I just need to get back on track and not let the stress get to me. I’m actually feeling pretty positive about it. :)

    Thanks Dale :)

American goulash for me is ground beef, elbows, tomato sauce and mozz cheese. This is what I called goulash growing up. Recently discovered its “American” goulash. Kind of a lasagna minus the ricotta and with elbows. It was a real treat to have cheese in it. Another dish I grew up with was macaroni and tomatoes. Which I didn’t like as much. That was ground beef, elbows and canned/stewed tomatoes. Yuck. I like sauce and I like cheese. Lol.

I’m alllllll about the garlic bread ;)

Thinking about going to the store, the rest of this week is supposed to be pretty nasty. Today is just cloudy and cold.
