Happy Fri-Yay Dale and Joey

 I have had better weeks that’s for sure. Not so good stuff going on with my mom :grr: No worries, she’s got issues. My new mantra: I didn’t cause it, I can’t control it and I can’t cure it.

Sorry bout those temps, Dale :( I’m all for warm weather but I don’t like sweltering heat.

Good morning Dale and lurkers

Just got home from the last house soccer game. It was a rough season. Thank goodness it’s over. DH ran to a local produce stand to get our first corn of the summer. I’m so excited for dinner.

Now I have to get myself moving and get some cleaning done. I have to empty out the laundry room in prep for the new washer/dryer to be installed tomorrow. Ugggg. Ours is 13+ years old and stacked (so both need to be replaced at the same time ) washer stopped draining last weekend....you know that saying, when it rains it pours :facepalm: when this one goes we’ll have to redo the laundry room so that we don't have to stay with stackable. Hindsight is 20/20. Hahahha I’m full of cliches today

Ouch Dale :( Wasps are nasty creatures. I hope you aren’t allergic and that it feels better real soon.

Still have travel soccer, Tuesday nights, until end of July but weekends are back to being mine :D well except for one more tournament in July.

    Good evening Sara :)
It hurt for a surprisingly long time but I kept ice on it and it’s fine now :) And no, I’m not allergic to them but my brother is and he’s terrified of them :(

One night a week isn’t too bad.

Glad you aren’t allergic. I’d be terrified of them too if I were.

Well the boys had steak, I had chicken with fresh peas (they weren’t so bad ;)), corn and micro baby potatoes. The corn was amazing.
Sounds great, especially the corn. Fresh ears is so good!
I had a burger and fries, didn’t really feel like eating so it was okay.

Good morning Dale and Joey

Lovely breakfast and wise quotes. ;) I was up for about an hour and then Lucy woke me up about 5:30. Which was fine because I wanted to vacuum and mop before they got here. Should sleep good tonight. Well washer/dryer are all set up and first load is in.

Supposed to be 91 today

Me too, though I sure do feel like a nap right about now.

We ordered it from Lowe’s, had a bunch of gift cards to use. Three loads done so far. Omgosh, the towels were sooo soft and it only took one run to get them dry.

We are at 91 and what seems like gale force winds out there lolol I was hoping to get out there and vacuum the pool first but I can’t see the bottom from the choppy waters  Maybe next weekend.

Made pasta salad to go with our burgers/corn and have strawberries macerating in the fridge for shortcake.

Hope you all are having a peaceful Sunday. Can’t believe the 4th is next weekend already.
