Omgoodness. I’m sorry I couldn't help but chuckle. Hope you got him, Joey.

awwww Dale, love that it’s a bully and yes. That happens every Sunday.

Friday night you feel like you’re on top of the world, going to get stuff done over the weekend, two days off. Woot!

But….you stay up later than you should have and when the alarm goes off Saturday morning you turn it off, roll over and go back to sleep.

When you do wake up, you’re groggy and stay snuggled in bed surfing the net on your phone. Chores….nah. You’ve got all day and tomorrow too!!! It’s all good. Before you know it, it’s dinnertime  What happened?? Don’t feel like cooking so you order takeout and then can’t sleep because you did absolutely nothing to wear yourself out all day. Tell yourself you deserve to relax after working all week and heyyy you’ve still got another whole day!!!

Sunday comes and it’s nearly identical to Saturday except you force yourself to do laundry/run the dishwasher, kicking yourself for not doing it the day before. You have to make dinner because you have stuff thawed that you were supposed to make the day before.

The dreadful feeling is slowly creeps up on you and you refuse to go to bed, as if stalling will keep Monday away.

The alarms drags you from your slumber at 5:30 Monday morning. You wake up with a headache from lack of sleep and instantly are irritated that you have to get out of bed and be the adult you should have been the previous two days. Looking around at all the things you didn’t accomplish just puts you in a worse mood.

I try very hard to stay on schedule and then it helps with the heavy sunmonday blues. But I have had one of those ^^^ weekends before.

I confess I grinned too
And at your run down of your weekend

Supper was extra good tonight, we split a ribeye with corn and a salad. The steak turned out perfectly done :thumb: That 30 dollar grill I bought was one of my better purchases.

Yum!!! It’s a great feeling when you find a sweet deal!

We had pizzas with store bought crust and salad.

Lol! Those kinds of weekends are the pits. ;)
Actually I bought several years ago, it’s cheaper now

I notice I’m fixated on the clock on Sunday’s. :nah:
Aw you should stop that ;)

    Good evening lurkers

    Tuesday too

Hope everyone had a good day! Tomorrow is faux Friday, since the office is closed Thursday. :D

Cheesesteaks for dinner with mushrooms/onions and a seven layer dip with tortilla chips for dinner. Odd combo but it worked.
Hi Sara  Glad you survived Tuesday too ;)
We had baked chicken quarters, baked potato and peas.

Oh yay! Short week and long weekend

    Good morning lurkers

Yum!! Except foe those peas ;)

Oops, I goofed when I typed that. It’s not a true “faux friday” because while we are closed tomorrow, we are working Friday. Still a short week though which is always a good thing!!
    Good morning Sara
    Oh well bummer :(

‘Bought a different brand of those peas since I haven’t been able to get Bush’s anywhere and they were terrible. Brand was Allen’s.

    Good evening

Sorry about those peas. Hate when you can’t find what you like. We buy the store brand frozen ones but not to eat on their own.

Dh had baked ziti in the oven when I got home. We’ll eat leftovers tomorrow and freeze the rest.
    Hi Sara
Glad DH had supper ready for you :) DH brought home subway since he was late and it’s church night. We split a foot long so cheap eats ;)

You do know I don’t eat those nasty little green peas right? I will eat them mixed with mashed potatoes.
