We had chicken and steak on the grill with beans and twice baked potatoes. It’s snowing now only know that because I took Lucy out to potty. Guess we are under a weather advisory. Can’t wait for summer.

I saw you guys were about to get a heat wave. It’s supposed to be a little warmer one of the next two days and then drop with rain/snow and they are talking messy next week maybe even for the holiday

Yeah, I’ve been expecting it to swing back warm But I’m definitely not interested in snow, sorry you’re dealing with it We won’t drop out of the 60’s tonight.

I guess I’ll be ready, bought a ham today and got a hen some time back for chicken and dressing. DS son plans to bring smashed potatoes and a pie and I’ve got some sides planned. DD and her family aren’t coming again Going to ask if Bela at least can come but they may have other plans

Ohhh Dale, what a bummer Hopefully Bela will be able to come spend some time with you.

We still have to get potatoes and rolls. Not sure which day we pick up the turkey. We get to cook two this year Since we weren’t sure if we were celebrating with or without family, we ordered one. So we’ll cook theirs on Thursday and then ours, Friday. Good thing we like the turkey leftovers

Or you could save one for Christmas I’ll eat turkey but am not a fan of it. I have one for Christmas , a little 10 pounder I found.
