Gray here today also, pretty good chance of rain.
Without knowing what he had to say for himself I have no clue how to comment on this post
That is just it. It was like he had never been MIA. He said he could not remember which day my birthday was on but he wanted to wish me a happy birthday and for me to pig out. He said, "oink, oink" like he used to say when we went to the church and filled up our plates.
I think that is sort of what confused me. I am a very honest and open person so I believe everyone should be that way with me too. I personally would rather he have told me why and maybe even apologized or told me what I did wrong.
Because we have been friends for so long, I did not want to ignore his text so I just responded that my birthday was last month but thank you for thinking of me. If he responds again, I would give us a chance to be friends again but it would be more like what it used to be than like it had turned into if you know what I mean. We were never in a "relationship". We were just dating as I had told him from the very beginning.
Hey, I chose to believe it was more than likely something that I needed to learn from for down the road. I am the first to admit I have LOTS to learn, not only about men but life in general.
It is much better today but yesterday there was a flap hanging in the roof of my mouth and was still sore. It is on the mend now, thank goodness. Weird things happening to me is totally normal and TotallyTorey.

That is exactly what my aunt thought. I am not sure but I imagine I will be more careful. I shouldn't be chewing ice anyway. It is such a bad habit. I have not been doing that in a long time so I am wondering if my iron is still low. Did you know that happens? That habit is often associated with iron deficiency or anemia. Another oddity that is ME!Wow!! Are you sure it was ice and not plastic from the machine or glass
I would have thought I would have slept like a baby last night because I worked so hard yesterday on so little sleep but I did not. I think I was too tired.
I can see that I am making headway even though I realize it is just the tip of the iceberg. I even found enough floor space in the dining room and living room that I had to get out the vacuum.

It is just going to take time. I still have a bunch of closets and bedroom drawers to go through. I am not even going to think about the attic right now.
Another strange thing that you may not know about me is that I have songs that pop into my head at times that express how I am feeling. It may be a smell or something I read that triggers it. Right now I was hearing the old gospel song One Day at a Time. For me, music has always been the loud when my soul is quiet. I know, I am unique!
I have enjoyed the relaxing morning being on ecf and doing my jigsaw puzzle while I was drinking coffee but now, it's time for me to get off of my tuchus and do something.

Hopefully the 49/rain tomorrow gets rid of more.
I never knew you weren’t supposed to chew ice. I’m glad your mouth is better, Rat2. Good for you for being cordial. My mouth gets me in trouble and I would have not been as nice. You already know how I feel, hate the games people play. Especially when we’ve been out of high school as long as we have. (((Hugs)))

Hiya, Dale Nothing wrong with sandwiches! We are doing shredded chicken wraps tomorrow night. Need to finish up the chicken I made Monday and we have some wraps to use. So sorta like sandwiches. DH made the omelets

I decided not to work on donations today. A friend of mine called and wanted to know if I want to go to Costco with her. I did not buy one single thing but I enjoyed walking around and looking.
Cindy look through the living room and was amazed at how much I had done. (she saw it from the beginning) She found several more things that she wanted and I was happy to give them to her.

Same here but it was in the 60's. I wore shorts and it was wonderful. We are supposed to have one day of rain tomorrow.

Got my shower and thoroughly enjoyed it. Now if I just had my hair dried. I dislike that part.
I am getting dad's taxes prepared in the morning. I hope I have everything I need. I am going to the same woman who prepared them last year since she is already used to them. I thought that would be the simplest. I am going to her new office so I am going to be using the GPS for sure. That GPS woman better not send me down another one-way street.

I abhor using an alarm to wake up. I am so worried that I will not hear it for some unknown reason, so I wake up hours before it is set to go off so that does not happen. I have been this way for as long as I can remember. I did it when I was in school and again when my kids were in school.
Not sure what I will do after the tax preparation. I want to go shooting and I will definitely go to the gym at some point. Decisions, decisions.
I wore my new neon pink shoes yesterday and I think they may draw attention to me. I was in the $1.25 store last night and a young guy told me I had beautiful calves. I did not know what to say so I just said I walk a lot. I do not take compliments easily anyway but that was a first for me. He should have noticed the heart on my t-shirt matched my shoes perfectly.
I took this pic at the gym yesterday to show Cindy my new shoes. I love things that match!
and yes, my little fan goes everywhere I go! I even stick it in my cleavage when I am walking outside so there is a cool breeze on my face when I'm reading. heehee
That fan is probably the most used purchase I have ever made from Amazon. It runs off of a 18650 battery. Low for 11 hours, medium for 7 hours, or high for 3 hours. It is awesome.
