Some days you end up doing something that you had no idea you would do and if you had, you would have done something else. heehee

Dad's 1951 Farmall tractor has 5 pull-behind attachments that my grandfather used for many, many years in his garden. For some ungodly reason, dad had them in the yard so I had to mow around and weed eat. I tried for years to get him to move them but since he did not have to mow around them it was not a priority. They sat on big plastic skids and when I tell you they are heavy, I mean they are heavy.

Well, evidently I was identifying with my inner She-Hulk today and decided that I was going to move them behind the shed out of my sight and where I did not have to mow around.

Most of them I could lift each side and walk it to their destination. There were a couple that was way too heavy and I ended up sitting on the ground so I could use both my arms and legs to help drag it inch by inch. I think the weights at the gym are paying off. Or at least I did until I started having cramps in my calf. That was still better than spasms in my back from my herniated disk which usually happens.

It took the better part of the afternoon but looking at the bright side (you know I can always find one), I got rid of a tremendous amount of built-up aggression that I did not realize I had been harboring. It ended up being rather therapeutic for me. I sincerely hope I still feel the same way when I wake up. View attachment 993599

Well, that was my exciting day. Hope everyone has a great start to their week. I'm hoping I sleep like a baby tonight!

Oh Rat2, that was dangerous! I’m glad you’re okay though.
It was not the smartest thing to do and I did think about that last night. I was grateful that I did not get hurt considering that I have no insurance this year. Someone was watching over me. I have more than one guardian angel. They tag team since I keep them pretty busy.

I have a doctor's appointment next week because she wanted to check my thyroid since she put me on the new medication. I wrote her today and asked if I could cancel the appointment and just get blood work done because I did not have insurance and she wrote me back and said that was fine. I was so glad. If she had said no, I would have canceled it anyway and waited until my physical in September to check it. It worked out good for because I need to make sure my levels are correct.

Each Easter, I promised my mom that I would put flowers on her mother's and stepfather's graves and I have done it every year even with the arguments with my father because he did not want to do it. Last year he was in the hospital so I go to do it without getting upset. I bought the flowers at Lidl's today. I am not really sure what they are because they just have buds on them. I am hoping they will wait til this weekend to bloom.

The Moravian church that my mom's mom is at requires flowers to be on all the graves for Easter Sunday. If someone does not do it, the church puts a flower on them. It is beautiful to see all the graves with flowers. I don't mind doing it at all mainly because if I promise someone something, I keep it. Dad promised also but he would never have kept it. I'm glad I did.

I was pleasantly surprised this morning that I was not very sore from yesterday. I hope I am still good tomorrow morning. Sometimes the 2nd day is worse for me than the first.

I went to the gym and got my steps in. Now it is looking dark and cloudy. We are supposed to have rain this evening. April showers bring May flowers. My Azaleas didn't get the memo. They bloom last week.

The Peonies are coming up fast. They grow a little more every time I look at them.

I am not sure what I want for supper. I like surprises. heehee Have a great evening all.

While I was a Lidl's today I grabbed a bag of grapes. I didn't look at the price I just make sure they are not soft. I went to the self-checkout and could not get them to weigh and ring up. So a nice employee came over to help me and the cost came up to $10.68. I said "Whoa, is that right? " She looked at me and said, "They are specialty grapes". Sheesh! No, I did not buy them. I had her take them off. There is no way I could have enjoyed a "specialty grape" that cost that much.

I have been posting too much again.

I'll be quiet for a while (try) and let y'all post. I'm not gonna promise though. heehee

I ended up being good and eating a huge salad with two boiled eggs. I just love that little Eggpod for the microwave.

Gosh, I said I was going to be quiet and just rambled on again.

    Good evening Rat2
I’m glad to hear that you’re feeling okay but do try not to do something like that again or at least have someone on standby in case you need help. I don’t know if you have neighbors near enough to scream for

Lols I wouldn’t have bought those grapes either but DH wouldn’t bat an eye

We just finished supper, chicken wings, skillet fried corn and green beans.

    Good evening ladies

So excited for everyone’s spring flowers

Glad you aren’t sore, Rat2. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. I had a hard boiled egg for breakfast with a strawberry protein shake. Definitely would have out the grapes back too, but oddly enough would have still purchased had that been strawberries

Both of your dinners sound fabulous. We had leftovers from the freezer. Eggplant parm, small side of spaghetti, salad and a garlic knot. Doh! Never even thought to add an egg to the salad! I usually do. I walked for 30 minutes while dinner was in the oven, almost to 10k.

Slept poorly last night, so I’m about ready for bed. Sweet dreams

Believe it or not, this o'l girl is going to be going to bed soon. The internet man is going to be here between 8-10. I guess it would be too much to ask that the installer be older, single, and sport a well-groomed beard. Oh well, I can dream.

It was so warm outside I went out and took another walk after I ate. Here it is 9:15 and it's still 61 degrees. I love it. I ended up walking 6 miles today because it was just so gorgeous outside. But I can tell it is going to rain soon.

Hugs to all and a good night's slumber to everyone too.

I was in bed early but I woke up so many times that I lost count. grrrr That's okay, I didn't oversleep and I am already up and dressed waiting on the internet man.

Since they are calling for rain later this week, I think I am going to go ahead a deliver the Easter flowers I got yesterday. I promised Mom I would do it but I didn't say it may be early. I do not suppose it makes much of a difference as long as they get there.

Yes, it is supposed to get up to 81 here today but cloudy, then some rain the rest of the week. I really do not mind how hot it gets as long as the humidity is low. I prefer 60s and low 70s with a breeze. heehee Oops, I'm dreaming again cause it gets hot as hades here.

Hope everyone has a lovely day.
