In your nightmares
Good morning lurkers

Lolz! That would be a sight for sure. Paco running around with a steak or a whole rotisserie chicken in his mouth. I’m thinking it would slow him down though ;) I could see him being quite the determined lil fellow though.

Uggg….I forgot about your schedule change. 12 hour days, Joey? :(

Wow, Rat2. That is a cool piece of history. Glad he wasn’t severely injured. Love your grandma’s picture.

Have a great day!!
Good morning Sara and lurkers

I hope they don't force 12 this year like they have said since we went to 3 shifts. We will see in a couple of weeks.

Good morning Rat2 , Sara and Joey

Paco is a very determined little fella but so am I ;) He’s destroyed a number of stylus‘ , toilet paper, toys, a plastic case and many papers… he’s as exhausting as Kalli to chase after  He’s determined to steal my house shoes but so far I’ve managed to catch him before he completely destroyed them although they no longer have decorative items attached:rolleyes: I think I’ve about convinced him to leave them alone tho. I’m worried he’s going to kill himself by swallowing the wrong thing sooner or later if I can’t get him to stop.

    ‘’Loved seeing your discoveries Rat2!

Joey I too hope they don’t make you work 12 hour shifts :(

I am enjoying my cup of coffee on my back porch. The sun is peeking through but the rain will be here soon. I need to get back to the gym but I have just been feeling too bad. I am hoping I will be better real soon. I cannot even remember if I told you the doctor decided to go with my recommendation so she placed me back on the 120mg. I still cannot believe with my chart she even attempted to put me on 30mg. Sheesh! As I have gotten older, I have lost faith in much of the medical profession. But I am going to be okay.

Dan started his 1200-mile trek this morning. With just the short trip I took (300 miles), I am pretty sure I could not be in that profession. But I sure am glad there are people who do. Even before Dan, I have always appreciated what the trucking industry does for everyone. What would the world be like without farmers and truckers? Sad. That's what it would be.

I have gotten 2 quotes on a new roof. It has to be done, but I hate spending that much money. It would not have bothered me as much if I could have talked Dad into getting it done. I am just grateful that I have the money right now to get it done. Thank you, Dad. You are still taking care of me.

I do believe it will help with the resale of this house.

The sun quit peeking and the rain predicted has begun.

I better get up in that attic before my book and bed call my name so loud that I can't refuse.

Have a wonderful day, lurkers.

If I were a betting woman. . . my money would be on YOU!

I had a friend whose dog did that to her shoes. I am unsure if you know what I am talking about but she got one of those little metal clickers. They are pretty loud. I remember playing with them when I was little. I wish I would find one in the attic and send it to you. She would click that every time and said it would stop him every time. Eventually, the little dog got with the program and I am sure Paco will too. I have had luck changing behavior with a squirt bottle with both dogs and cats.

Have you posted a picture? My mind is getting worse. I am starting to think I may need a neurological exam. (not a joke, this time) Maybe if my metabolism is increased with the meds, my brain will improve just a little bit.

My aunt's foot looks much better. Went down there this morning and told her to leave the bandage off for a little bit since it looked good. After supper, I went back down there and bandaged it up for the night. I am pleased that it is healing nicely and no sign of infection.

Got another quote for a roof and it was right much cheaper than the first one. I am waiting for one more quote. If they don't get in touch soon, I will pick another one. There are so many roofers around here with good reviews. I just always feel better if I get 3 quotes and compare them.

I really had planned on getting back up in the attic yesterday. It was more emotional than I expected so I gave it a rest today and will get back to it soon. I think the rain was messing with me too. I had 4 inches in the rain gauge. Sheesh! Enough is enough.

Gotta run to the bank and grocery store. I may even try to go to the gym. I have been doing so bad lately but I am already feeling some better after 4 days of the right dosage of thyroid meds. I was not near as cold today as I have been which is a good thing. My knee sure has enjoyed the hiatus it has been on.

Ohhh he is just the sweetest thing, Dale. Looks like he settled in nicely.

    Welcome Bubbadawg :)

It wasn’t too bad, Dale but I’m glad it’s over. I really don’t like going back after being off. Lol
    Hi Sara
Oh definitely, I’m pretty sure he likes it here except for being told he can’t chew our stuff up

I completely understand how you feel about going back to work, time off is never enough.

I got my third quote on the roof. Glad to see they were all pretty much in line with the price. It has a black roof now. The man I am going with also suggested two different gray kind of colors. I am not sure what it would look like. Since I am used to black, I guess I should just get black again. It really doesn't matter because I hope I'm not here. With the black shutters, I guess the black would be ok. I tried to get dad to paint the front door red. Of course, he said no. I think it would look good but then again, I have lots of black, white, and red in my closet.
