Using my phone and the website is a little wonky, it gave me a notification that I’m now following someone, don’t anyone panic. I’m not a stalker
We had dinner with my parents at a little diner type place. I had a chicken finger wrap with fries. Woot!! I can take the other half for lunch.
It was hot/humid here too. The haze is back but I’m not seeing smoke on the the website I check, so I’m guessing it’s the humidity. We have another air quality alert for tomorrow. 155

I decided to do the trim work (only at my house). It was still awfully hot but at least the sun was down and not beating on me. Going to try to do the riding part tomorrow so I can come in a get a shower for my Girl's Night. I am looking forward to going. I love Mexican (and everything else other than anchovies).
I was still hungry so I just fixed a tomato sandwich. As I was mowing, I noticed two little grape tomatoes on my vine. I ate them and they were so good. 2 was not enough but it was cool that I grew them.
Since I didn't get much sleep last night, I am going to go read and try to get some tonight. Hope everyone else sleeps well.

I had something very similar, salad and Hawaiian chicken.
Only 5 at our Girl's Night Out but it was fun. I got a ACP Chicken Salad and it was good. I filled them in on all my shenanigans and of course, everyone was laughing. It is always so funny when we get together.
It was so nice today mowing only my yard. I got finished in no time at all. It felt weird. I kept looking around thinking surely I had missed something but I didn't. I don't mind helping anyone but I like being responsible for only my yard. I can't believe I did not time myself. I will next time. I guess going 13 miles an hour covers the ground fast.
My friend Cindy is taking her grandkids camping and has asked me to watch her dog. I would do anything she asked but this dog is old and not really healthy. I know it takes medication. She took her camping last time and it was just too much for the little dog and she had to carry her around most of the time. So I need everyone to send good thoughts to me when I start doggie sitting. Do you know how traumatized I would be if this little dog passed while in my care? Whew. I don't even want to think about it. Bailey knows me. I used to cut her nails. She is a long-haired weenie dog and cute as can be. A little chunky right now because of her meds. Oh well, I will take good care of her.

I’m sure the dog will be fine, she’ll probably sleep most of time if she’s old and ill.
Gosh, it is already hot here. It is supposed to hit 100 later this week. I may even have to turn the air up. I have been keeping it on 76 and believe it or not, I have been comfortable unless I am vacuuming or something strenuous. No sense keeping it so cool when I stay gone so much. My energy bill was only $66 dollars this month. It sure helps when you do not cook or do a lot of laundry. It would probably stay cooler in here if I closed the drapes but after so many years of being in the dark, I have to let the sun shine in.
Not sure what I am going to do today but I am eating at home tonight. I love going out to eat but not every night like I have been doing lately. Of course, if anyone asks me to go. . . I'll be ready.

I would be posting more but I can't seem to get off of the Temu website. OMgosh, it is addictive. I have received one order and it was like Christmas and I am waiting on another one that should be here this week. Sheesh! I can't remember if I told y'all about it. Well anyway, I need to refrain from looking there because I always see something I want or something to put on my wishlist. I don't see many Amazon deliveries in my future.
Remember how many nails I was picking up after having the roof installed? I said something to my friend and he ended up telling the man that did my roof. I did not really mean for him to but this morning the man that owns the company came over with a big industrial magnet and went over the yard and apologized for his people not getting them up. He actually found a bunch more. I feel better about mowing around the house now. I just was afraid of getting a flat tire on my lawnmower. I was very pleased with the roof and now I feel better about him too. It has been a good day.
