    Good morning Dale

Thank you for breakfast. The french toast looks amazing and the quotes are perfect.

Awww, I will be ok. I know that the next 8 years will go by fast and then I’ll be happily retired. ;)

    Have a great day!!
    Good morning Sara

    Good evening lurkers

Spinach ravioli for dinner (Aldi's) with salad and hamburger roll garlic bread  Oh and we had some baked chicken in the fridge so I reheated with sauce and mozz cheese. Love repurposing and using up things to keep it out of the trash.

Long day, ready for some tv. Hope everyone had a great day!

    Good morning lurkers

Hope everyone has a great day and that it goes fast for me ;)
    Good morning Sara
‘I’ve been up since 3:30, just goes to show retirement doesn’t necessarily mean you can sleep late whenever you want to

Fingers crossed your day is a good one for a Monday.

You have nothing holding you back just be sure it’s what you really want. ;)
That is the problem. I only know what I "don't" want.

It is a big decision and a bit scary if you think about it. Now that cold weather is here, maybe I will stay home and get some of this much-needed stuff done. Hopefully, the rest will fall into place.

    4 days a week for 10 hours a day

That is a long day for both the student and the teacher. I can't imagine. Kids are pretty resilient and I am sure it will work out. I am so glad that I have no children in school these days.

Well, we got back this morning around 2 and it was a lot less traffic driving at that time. Still had to make several stops to let me walk around because my leg was bothering me. He stopped every time he noticed I was moving around a lot. For some reason, it is the worst in the car. The motorcycle did not bother me nearly as bad. Go figure. I'm weird.

I do know one thing for sure. . . I am sick of fast foods and I have got to get back to eating the right way. I was afraid to get on the scales this morning. I maybe should give it some time so I don't have a coronary.

I did eat too much fast food but I also had some good things to eat too. The pizza at the Moose Lodge in TN was awesome. We stopped at a cafe that had a breakfast buffet that was all you could eat going through the line one time. Since it was late, the server told us to go back as many times as we could to help get rid of it. The best part was it was only $8. They told us to come back for the Catfish special that night but we never made it back there.

Only 3 or 4 loads of laundry and I will be caught up. Ken wanted me to go run errands with him (he needs his meds refilled) but I told him I was staying home and getting my stuff done. It's a good thing. We don't have to be together 24/7. At least I hope not.

Have a great day. Be back later. . .

There was a girl at Ken's favorite bar who had this little 3-month-old dog named Gracie. She rides in a backpack on her bike. The little dog walked around with her goggles on for a good while before they left and the little dog looked so darn cute.

    Lols that’s so cute! :)

Well we had an old fashioned supper of pot roast, it was good but I missed the carrots, we didn’t have any.

    Good evening

Yum, pot roast! We had turkey wraps and I steamed some broccoli. Trying to add more veggies in. Better than potato chips but not as tasty lolol. We stopped by one of the farm stands, Sunday and grabbed one last haul of their fresh produce before they close for the year. We have cauliflower, had broccoli, got some sweet potatoes, carrots (sorry, Dale), celery, couple cucumbers, bulb of garlic and acorn squash for Thanksgiving.

Rat2, glad you are home safe. What a cute pooch, don't know if I'd be comfortable with them on my back though. You know me, nervous nelly. Feel ya, we ate out more this past week than we've done in the last few months. Time to get back on track.

    Sweet dreams

That’s a highly unusual holiday season for a worker, I always had the crappy jobs that made us wor right up to the day, I’ve even had to work on Christmas. That was a long time ago though.

Have a good night Sara, short weeks coming!

    Good morning lurkers

So the actual holidays we are closed and paid for are Thurs/Fri for Thanksgiving and Christmas/NY Day. The rest of the time is my vacation time. They are trying to steal Black Friday from us with every new contract but haven’t been successful at it yet. I have a feeling they will try to swap it out and give us Juneteenth. But I don’t want no rando day middle of June. I get that it’s a new federal holiday but how about maybe just maybe “you” just give it to us and not take something away.

Anyhoo, Hope everyone has a lovely day!
