Good evening Dale, Joey and Fran

Aww, Dale. I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to visit with them. Hopefully this weekend.
Hi Sara  Lols I’m not really having weekends right now. I work Saturday and spend most of Sunday at church but it‘s okay, it’s temporary ;)

Gosh, it took me a bit to get caught up. I surely have been busier than I like.

The hunt for the freezer is over! Yay! The discount places I went to seems ridiculous so I ended up buying a new one at Lowes. Found an upright convertible. I did not even know they made ones that could be a fridge or a freezer. Of course, it has been a long time since I looked at appliances. That is a good thing.

Perry brought over a huge cooler full of meat so it is already over half full. He is bringing veggies over next so I am sure it will be ready for the winter. Now I am thinking I need to buy a small generator because I would hate to lose all that is in there. I tried to pay him for it but he quickly thumbs downed that idea. He does have a point that I am cooking for him. I thought I had retired from cooking so I would not have needed one if it were not for him and his teaching me to make stuff. heehee

It is supposed to rain here soon so both yards needed to have the leaves gotten up. I do not like this of year. Perry had a lot to do this week so I did his yard. I walked almost 7 miles yesterday and boy can I tell it. Probably should not have done all that with my knee. Usually, when I get up it feel great and gets worse during the day. Today, it reminded me the first thing that I need to slow down. So that is what I am going to do today.

Perry and I are supposed to go hear Jerry Garcia Band this weekend. He had called one of his good friends to go with us and the man was so excited. He said he would ask his wife. Well, the next day, she called and told Perry that he had passed away unexpectedly with a seizure. It was such a shock to Perry and me too. Just more proof that you need to live every day like it is your last because it very well could be.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Guess I should quit complaining, at least I have feet and they work
I feel that way about myself too. I try to remind myself self that it could always be worse. Sometimes, that is a difficult task.

    I'm a huge procrastinator.
You are just a baby. I have had many more years of perfecting the degree of procrastination and believe me, I take it to a whole new level.

I waited a long time when I had heel pain. I finally went and had Plantar Fasciitis. The cortisone shots he put in my feet were wonderful (after the shot stopped hurting) heehee

    Good evening lurkers

I'd forgotten about working on Saturdays, Dale. How long is deer season? Hope your day went quickly!

Oh my, Rat2 :( I'm so sorry about Perry's friend. Glad you got a freezer. The shot is mostly why I'm procrastinating. I've heard they hurt terribly. I'm no good with needles being stuck anywhere. Not sure why I think I will be ok with getting a tattoo :lol::lol::lol: Hope your knee is feeling better today.

How on earth is Thanksgiving next week. Like what happened to 2024? Does anyone have any special plans? Same ol' here. My family and Dh's family are coming (11 people including us). We are having the usual fixin's

Enjoy the rest of your night all

    Good evening Sara
I wouldn’t be thrilled about getting a shot in the foot either.

I think deer season actually runs through February in one form or another but Randy doesn’t usually need help after December. No modern gun hunting.

Only half of us will be here for thanksgiving so we’re having pizza as that’s what the kids want. The Christmas meal will be the big one.
