    Good evening ladies

Happy Friday! Bet you'll be looking forward to the slowdown, Dale. Enjoy your evening, reading.

Hope everyone had a nice day!
Good evening to you Sara
I am but it’ll be a while yet. Thursday wasn’t bad but I probably won’t have as much help tomorrow, we’ll see.

Hope your day wasn’t too bad and you enjoy your weekend :)

    I've heard they hurt terribly.
I wouldn't say "terribly". They do numb a bit before the shot. The benefit for me was worth it. I do know what you mean though. I was apprehensive when the woman said she had to drain the fluid off my knee. It was uncomfortable but I felt the benefit as soon as I stood up. I felt such relief from what I was feeling. I could live with how my knee is acting right now although, I still have to wear the brace. My gut tells me to keep that December appt. and do something about it before it gets worse. I sometimes listen to my gut.

I think deer season actually runs through February
I am not sure but Perry's friend called yesterday evening late and he had him another one. We had to pick her up and take her to the processing plant. The ground was covered with deer. I lost count but I know it was over 20. That is two deers in one month for him. Since I have the new freezer, he says I am getting all of this one.

I made cube steak with it and Perry acted like it was the best he had ever had. Even the reheated leftovers were pretty tasty, I must say. It is crock pot weather. heehee

Only half of us will be here for thanksgiving so we’re having pizza as that’s what the kids want.
I am still not sure what we are doing. We were invited to his ex-wife's sisters but it is not until the Sunday after Thanksgiving. He has not decided if we will go yet. I think he just wants the turkey bones to make broth.

I think pizza is a wonderful idea. Me and dad usually grilled out steaks. I am all for EASY!

Perry still working hard and I got his leaves up again for him. And he wonders why I want to live in the woods where there is no yard work.

I am excited about going to Charlottesville VA today. It is only 3 hours away but that counts as a trip for me. We are going to hear JGB (Jerry Garcia Band). Melvin Seals is an organist who is going to be with them and he is phenomenal. We will spend the night somewhere but we have to leave early tomorrow because his boss has something he needs Monday. Perry told him we were going out of town and I think his boss should have said he could get it Tuesday. Guess I am #2 in Perry's priority list but that's okay. Second place is higher than I have ever been before.

Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. I had my first disposable vape. On an impulse, I went into a vape store here. I bought a couple of flavors because they were on sale. One of the flavors Perry says he liked and it did not make him cough. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will help him stop smoking. When I first met him he was taking Chantix and he had cut way back but as soon as he quit, he went right back to how it was before. I know vaping is the only thing that ever worked for me so I hope it helps him. With the cost of cigarettes alone is enough for be to be grateful that I quit.

I liked all the flavors. I used to mix when I first started but then it got to be more of a chore than a pleasure. I made mine menthol but then I just got so lazy I have been vaping unflavored. I might have to start mixing again. (I know you love to hear that Fran)View attachment 1020453

Good morning, Dale and welcome coilspotting :)

Had a ceremony at the school for Academic Scholars, 2 years in a row for kiddo. He got his academic letter last year and today he received his Lamp of Learning pin to put on the letter. Now if we could just convince him of getting his Varsity/Letterman jacket  Super proud of him.

Going in to work for the second half of the day and then I'm off for the holiday weekend.

Safe travels, Rat2. Hope you have a great time.
