    Good evening everyone

Glad all went well, Rat2 and that you are home recouping.

Snow, lots of wind and more snow on the way. Can't wait for Spring. At least the bitter cold has moved on for now. Hopefully it stays that way.

    Enjoy your evening all.
Good evening Sara  Sorry you’re still dealing with snow, ours is finally all gone. Almost 60 today, rain is coming sometime in the next two days.

Just finished supper here, ham and cheese omelette with biscuits.

    Over There
Well, I am glad I got some sleep yesterday because I was so afraid I would not wake up with my alarm that I did not sleep well at all. (I am used to getting up when I wake up) heehee

I was in the shower at 4:30 washing with the stuff they gave me and other than not being able to drink coffee, it was okay. The instructions where to wash everything but my face and genitals. Sheesh! I thought that would have been the important part. View attachment 1023801I followed my instructions. Got there, got fixed got out. Everything went well. YAY! I am pretty sure they gave me something for the pain there because my back is much better. View attachment 1023800 I think the bed rest I am having will help even more. I love Perry's bendy bed. I can easily prop my leg up over my heart and raise the head to comfortably watch tv. I like this. I may get bored tomorrow though. I thought I would come home and sleep but I am not the least bit sleepy. Perry got a nap. Bless his heart. He's gone to pic up a bag of ice for me. I think that is pretty important to keep the swelling down. My friend Cindy daughter is a doctor and she is sending me some kind of ice machine for my knee. She is also bringing me a chicken pie. Perry had supper planned but I told him it will be fine tomorrow. Very nice of my friend. I might not have many but they love me!

Still 58 degrees and sunny. Just a beautiful day. Hope everyone is having a great day too.
The washing thing is because some soap my cause skin irritation,

I ended up having to take a Xanax to go to sleep last night but I slept well and my knee is doing fabulously. I think the BREG ice machine Cindy brought me is why there is no swelling or pain. I kept it on all night and this morning it is awesome. I am going to try not to over do it. I do have enough sense to take care of myself. I did not need Perry here so he has gone to work and that is fine. I am doing great.

We are in the 60's and it is just a beautiful sunny day here. I can't wait until I can get back to walking.

I had another nice night and the knee is still doing great. Lots to be thankful for around here.

Perry opened a jar of his homemade meatballs and spaghetti sauce for supper and it was so good. The boy knows how to can for sure. I thought about running home and picking up some stuff I forgot but think I will just take it easy for another day.

Sunny and supposed to get up to 60 again today. Just beautiful weather. Wish I could get out in it.

Have a great Thursday everyone!

All so very sad watching the wreck this morning. I cannot imagine why it happened. Prayers go out to the families with this tragic loss.

I have had a wonderful day. I have been so lazy today. That is not a bad thing for me. My curiosity got the best of me so I unwrapped my leg. It looks great. Just four little places that are stitched up. I think that ice machine made all the difference in the world keeping the swelling down.

Hope everyone has a nice night.

Good evening Fran, Rat2 and Joey

Well I got a text from my boss today saying he didn’t need me today after all so I got to stay home which was wonderful as we had some rough storms today. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and I will be working. Lols, a one day work week

Really glad you’re doing so well Rat2, I have a couple of friends who had that knee surgery and had trouble getting over it.

Really glad you’re doing so well Rat2,
You and me both. Before the surgery, I was more concerned with my back and thank goodness I have not had any more problems with the spasms. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

I think I am over the worst part and now, I just need to take it easy for a while. I go back for post op Feb. 7th.

    Going to work today
Hope you have a good day (and fast).

    Missed morning so, good afternoon!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Perry and I finally got to go give is granddaughter her birthday gifts. I was in charge of that and Perry said I hit a home run. Those 3 kids loved the karaoke machine and were so cute singing. It was loud though so I feel sorry for their parent just a little bit.

The little one (4 years old) asked her dad to give her her bath. I offered to help and the little was so excited that I was going to help her. She had a ball in the tube and to be honest, I did too. It brought back some happy memories for me. Of course she told a fib when she told me how high to make the water. I just laughed and told her she was bathing not swimming. She is a cutie.

My knee is still doing great. Went to the Moose Lodge last night and had supper and they were amazed at my progress. I think I have been very lucky.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
