    Hiya Dale:wub:

Going to be cold here the next few days, along with possible freezing rain.
    Hi Joey
Definitely not cold in our neck of the woods, it was 80 degrees in our house last night  had to run the ac before bed time to cool it down

They say we’ll have another cold spell in about a week around Valentine’s Day.

Good morning all. I am quite excited because I am waiting on my new washer to be delivered. They gave me a window of 7:30 to 11:30. I can't even remember if I told y'all I had finally stopped procrastinating on my need for a washer. Oh well. This may be a rerun.

Spent 6 hours with my aunt yesterday and even went to lunch. I have not done it in a long time and she was thrilled to be getting out of the house. I honestly could slap her 2 daughters that live here.

    Later...

I don’t think you told us that you decided on a washer, but we did know you were having trouble with yours.
Glad you had a good day yesterday :)

Yes, and keeping up with my "luck", they delivered it today. He turned it on and left. I went back in the house a little later to take a picture of it and there was water all over the laundry room floor.

I called Best buy and they said there was nothing they could do today. They could not get in touch with the delivery person and for me to call tomorrow morning and make an appointment. GRRRR

So, I went back to the BestBuy store and told them just to come get it and I found it $100 cheaper at Samsclub. They said they would meet their price.

Oh well, Perry came to look at it tonight and the new washer has a much stronger pressure when draining and I need a bigger drain pipe. They made them smaller in 1969. So he called a friend and got a recommendation for a plumber for me to call in the morning.

    Welcome to my world!

    Good morning lurkers :)
I’ll be working today. Warm and muggy here, 63 right now and expected to get up in the 70’s.

Well what a bummer! I’m sorry that happened to you, at least you now know the problem and how to fix it.
Hope you have a better day

    Good afternoon, dale
    Good evening Fran

Well today was fun … not. One guy got fired this morning and another was a no show although he did text and say he had made plans :glare: So it was me and Randy.

DH went and got McDonald’s for supper so I didn’t have to mess with that. Wonder what tomorrow will be like?

The plumber is coming next Tuesday and as hard as I tried to live with a mix matched set of laundry machines, I broke today and the are delivering my dryer Saturday or Monday if I go out of town. Well I did try.

At least it is something that you do not have to buy very often. The old ones were 16 years old.

Sorry you did not have much help today. I bet the time went by fast though. It was nice that you did not have to fix supper.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday (it's almost here).

Oh my! Lols We’ve had a mismatched set since we moved here, that makes our dryer 25 years old and the washer is at least 30 years old

Good afternoon Dale and lurkers

Not much going on this weekend. Going to try to put a brisket on the smoker later today. Getting almost $2000 less on my taxes this year because I made too much money last year :-x Not very happy at the moment
    Good afternoon Joey
Yeah I’ll just be happy if we don’t have to pay the IRS anything !

Went to Bismarck and got a bunch of cases of chips, brought them home and divided them up with some of each kind in a box together. Delivered one to my boss and two to our son, tomorrow both DH and I are carrying cases to our respective church, Monday DH will take the remainder to our daughter except for what we’re keeping for ourselves. Still have a couple of cases we’re not quite sure what to do with, apparently flaming hot Cheetos with limon didn’t go over too well lols.

Saw Lupin but he slept the whole time we were there :( Hard to believe he’s already 3 months old! Kalli was gone with her mom to a party so we didn’t see her.

    Over There
    Good morning lurkers :)
Wonderful day, spent the last few lurking around various places. Decided last week that now since we’ve both retired we really don’t need two cars. One mostly sat there with me using it every week just to keep the batteries charged (hybrid).
So we lurked around posted it on a popular lurker site and sold it. Cool beans!
