TGIF! It's been a long, fluid week and we're all glad to see it come to an end. Definitely something to be said for being on a school schedule. 
Will possibly be at a different school next week, although if they plan to keep me on my current schedule (12-8) I'll stay at the school where I've been at this week. All in all, a great week. Only thing that could be even better is for the weather to cool off.

That’s great that you’re happy with your new job, Friday is still welcome though. I too am glad it’s Friday although I admit it was a short day today . I agree wholeheartedly about the weather, it’s terrible!
Got back last night and had a wonderful time. The only reason we came back was for a Celebration of Life for a close family friend. Ohio was nice, and I liked his cousin. I loved Kentucky though. A beautiful place. I would have liked to have stayed a bit longer there.
Perry said we were so busy on the last two trips that if I want to go back to the beach to just relax, we could leave again after the funeral. I'm in!

Perry got my yard mowed, and now we are at his house, and he is mowing his yard. That boy really loves mowing, and that is okay with me. I am still recuperating from the drive. My leg bothered me, but not enough not to leave again as soon as we can.

I really do like it, although I am mostly a homebody. There is just so much that I need to do at home (still cleaning out the house) that I think I like going off so I don't have to worry about it. heeheeI wouldn’t enjoy all that constant going places but I’m glad you’re enjoying it

Mornin' y'all. Already 80 degrees with a forecast high of "Oh lord, will it ever cool off?!". At least they're starting to sneak rain chances into the forecast starting tomorrow. Not a great chance, but ya never know around here. Usually the "guaranteed" chance results in a bust and the teeny tiny 30 percent chance results in a deluge.

We took my aunt and two cousins with us to the Moose last night. They had crab-stuffed flounder, and it was awesome. I think they had a great time, and to my utter surprise. . . my cousin from SC bought ours. I wonder if he would have if Perry and I had not split a meal.
It is 90 here with a feels-like temp of 97!!!! I have not even been out of the house yet but we are going back to Perry's to can some Purple Hull Peas.
A friend of his said he would get him some for free. I was prepared to shell them and was surprised to get them already shelled. They had a machine that did it. They sold them for $8 a bag (which I would not pay), but his friend brought us 11 bags. Boy, they will be good this winter.

The tree people that messed up my yard text me and they are coming out tomorrow morning to fix their mess. I am totally surprised because it has been several weeks with no word. Now if they do not show up like they did last time. . . I am going to be irate.
