Then there's but one thing left to do.

I thought about it, but I'm glad I did not. I tried everything Google suggested, but it was to no avail. I gave it another week, and when I got home from Perry's, I plugged it in, and voilà, it is working fine. So now I have two. I like them both, so I am going to keep one in the den and one in my bedroom. Problem solved, and it worked out pretty good. Maybe if I keep it charged up and not use it on just battery, it will stick it out a little longer. Or it could go next time I pick it up.

Got up at 6 because Perry had a PET scan this morning. I stayed here because the garage repair was supposed to start at 9. He texted me and said he had forgotten his son's dental appointment, and he was going to be late. That is okay. He is out there working away. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will all look great when it is over. For $1000 it better. But you know my luck, so anything goes.

Perry could not eat any carbs yesterday because of his test, so I fixed him a filet mignon with an egg on it. He used to be on the carnivore diet (pre-gallbladder removal) and said it was one of his favs.

I used the air fryer my microwave to fix it, and I could not believe how well it turned out. I have not tried any meat, but I bet I will now. It was juicy and cooked to perfection. Well, just thinking about that steak made me hungry, and it is a long way til supper. heehee

Good morning Dale and lurkers

I hope your soreness is gone now, Dale and I hope everything went well with Perry’s pet scan.

I don’t know that I’ve seen Blue Bell. But I definitely would try it. I never turn down a scoop or five of ice cream lol

Not too much new here. Busy with work, looming college deadlines/a head in the clouds kiddo (feels like that to me) and car shopping. We are going to sell mine to him so he has something reliable when he graduates.

I have so much to do but I really just want to curl up with tea and a book.

    Hi Sara.
I went to a fish fry today at DH’s church where our son and family joined us and came to the house afterwards. It was a nice day.

Guess it can be good to be busy but yeah I’m happier with a good book and coffee. ;)

No,I’m not sore at the moment lols … except for the back of my leg where my bosses rooster spurred me and , made me bleed and left a rather large bruise. His roosters hate me for some reason, I’ve never done anything to them.

The garage turned out well. They did have to come back a 3rd day. I told him I may need some other work in this house.

Beautiful weekend. It was wonderful taking a motorcycle ride today, but once again, it was uncomfortable. I think I am having sciatica issues. Add the knee and foot pain, and I am pretty much falling apart.

I made it for 150 miles, though. It was just too pretty to turn down.

Perry's father has COVID, and my aunt is being sent to a cardiologist. Perry has appt. with his Thursday. Guess the test was okay because surely, they would have called him if it was bad.

Hope everyone has a great start to the new week.

Another beautiful day. I could get used to this kind of weather.

We are going to the mountains tomorrow. Just for a few days. Perry has a friend there that we are going to see. They insisted that we stay with them. , which is nice because it will save some money. So far, I have really liked all of his friends.

They did not keep my aunt last night. She is home and feeling better. They are going to make an appt. with a cardiologist. Perry's dad got to come home today and is feeling better, too. So everyone is fine. Thank goodness.

Grilled out burgers tonight, and they were so good. My ex burnt everything he put on the grill, so it was nice to find out that Perry knows how to grill. Now I don't have to do it.

    Good morning lurkers. :)

Working today, we’re going to have to start pushing to get all the domestic cattle done and out before deer season starts rolling. I have a feeling it’s going to be a big deer season what with the costs of food increasing so much.

Rat2 I’m glad to hear everyone is doing better! Have a good time on your trip. :)

It's a southern thang. But if you can latch on to some, you'll never look at another brand again.

Uh huh. Sure....... Every time you look at 'em, you have that "fried chicken" look.

Yep. My old man would shut normal production down during deer season. One year, he had to rent 3 refrigerated trailers to handle the overflow. Downstairs cooler was full (we're talking a 20x20 space). He was one of two butchers in the state at the time that would process deer.

Yep we’ve done that in the past. Been a long time ago though.
Had a couple of beauties in the yard the other day, hope they survive the season .

Ugh... It has been one of those weeks. Don't know what's in the water, but the popo was at the school when I got there today. Second trip out there for him this week. Thankfully, tomorrow is an early day which allows me to go in earlier and skip out when they clear out at the end of the day. Good thing, too. I boogered up the car last week and it has to go into the shop for at least a new wheel bearing. Hopefully that's all it needs, but I have a hunch I REALLY boogered it up and will need additional parts. Ugh!

Oh no that doesn’t sound good retired! Fingers crossed it turns out to be the simple fix.

    Good evening everyone
    :)
I hope you’ve all had a pleasant day, I know mine was peaceful. Tomorrow DS is supposed to come (earlier than I like ) and we’re going to wash cars. We’ve been battling tree sap like it’s Spring time , turning our cars black in spots.
    :(

I had some leftover steak and leftover sweet potatoes this afternoon around 3, that was dinner and supper for me. DH is out of town with his sister. I’ll probably snack on some popcorn in a little while, banned peanut m&m’s from the house a few months ago.

No will power. Popcorn is not really a satisfying replacement but it is what it has to be.
