The rain stopped just in time for the Halloween party. They had a big o'l brush fire. I love them. My friend who hosted the party is a caterer, so the food was off the chart.

No one could figure out who we were until they made us announce it during the judging. I guess for originality or maybe sympathy, we won 3rd prize. We got a $10 Chick-fil-A gift card. YAY!

The first-place winners were awesome and definitely should have won. They dressed up a Rip and Beth from Yellowstone. Butch dyed his beard in order to be Rip, and boy, did he look great. He also looked about 10 years younger.

We did have a great time, and the best part is she invited us to come to their Christmas Party. It has an ugly sweatshirt contest, so I'd better get busy. I have no idea what to do.

It is Taco Tuesday at the Moose tonight and they are going to serve Perry's salsa. I think it is the best I've ever had but that might be because I cut up most of the stuff in it. heehee

Hope everyone has a great day.

Training was awesome. I do enjoy training days. Range evaluation went well, too. I'm bushed and really want to hit the sack now, but I know if I do, I'll be awake at 3 am and have an absolutely rotten day at work tomorrow. Definitely be an early night, though!

Hey retired. :). Glad you enjoyed training. I understand how you’re feeling, I may be following you out the door tonight. ;)

Welp, I ended up falling asleep around 6 and woke up 3 hours later all bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Going to stop at QT on the way to work and pick up a can or two of 300. I suspect I'm going to need it later this afternoon. LOL

Supposed to be in the 80s for highs for the rest of the week. Ugh! I get about an hour of direct sunlight in the foyer at the school before sunset and it turns into a blast furnace. School district is reluctant to add film to the doors as the school is slated to close after the school year is finished. I may do a little digging and see if I can pay for it myself (I checked already and the film rolls are dirt cheap at Home Depot).

I have had a really slow day. It was by choice. My hip and knee were bothering me, so I tried to give them a rest. I finally broke down and made a doctor's appointment. Could not get one until the 18th. I will cancel if my issues get better, but I have given it ample time to heal, and it still hurts.

Perry wanted me to make him an eye appointment, and the earliest appt. was January 20th. Gosh, they must be busy doctors.

Not much exciting here, but that is okay with me.

I hope so too. It will probably be like when you take your car into the shop and the sound it was making is not there. View attachment 1033559 I really dislike going to the doctor.
Me too that’s why I only go once a year when doctor makes me to get my prescriptions renewed.

    Good night lurkers. :)
