OK, 39 is rapidly approaching (who am I kidding, that's too :censored: cold!) "nope" territory!

46 here with a high of 58. Perfect!

A few errands this morning before the mad travel rush kicks in. Once I park the car today, it's not moving until Friday!

Good evening everyone.

We started at 9 people for dinner. Added 3, lost 1 and now due to a winter storm warning, lost 4 more for dinner. That’s ok, more rolls for me.

So far just crazy wind and rain. Supposed to change over to snow soon. They are predicting up to 20 inches where my in laws live.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Wow Sara! Kind of hard to plan a meal like that huh.

Mornin' y'all! Enjoying the peace and quiet (along with a nice cup of coffee) before the bedlam kicks in later today. Being the first one up has it's perks!

I would say don't go overboard at the dining room table, but knowing me, I'm looking forward to stuffing myself and taking a nice nap afterwards!

Good morning! Glad to hear everyone had a nice Turkey Day. We are going to ours today. Perry worked on Thursday, and I got stuff done. I've almost cleaned out the garage enough to fit two cars in it. YAY! The cold weather held off for a couple of days to give me time to do that and Perry to get up my leaves.

Our trip to GA was quite nice, and my hip and knee did much better than I expected. I guess the anti-inflammatory the doctor gave me is helping. I sure hope the motor Perry went after is good. I had a good impression of the guy a little after we met him. The address he gave us was behind a huge church. I was expecting a house or a place of business. You hear all kinds of stories about that, and they do not end well. I had Perry's back, though. I stayed mostly in the truck, ready for anything. I am glad I did not have to hurt anyone, especially in the back of a church.

We were going to spend the night, but we decided just to go ahead and drive back. I spent 13 1/2 hours in the truck. One stopped one time for gas and a restroom. I hate that it was raining but luckily it was not a hard rain. I did offer to drive some, but was very pleased when Perry said he was fine.

I will be having a belated food coma, but I am looking forward to it.

    Good morning, Dale

How was your Thanksgiving? Ours was very nice, laid back. We ended up with about 4 inches of snow. Not too bad. Sun is shining today but it's cold, only 33.

We decorated yesterday for Christmas and now I'm searching high and low for "Santa" wrapping paper. Walmart had nothing with Santas on it. LOL! Yes, I still wrap kiddo's gifts in that specific paper. Online wants an arm & a leg for small rolls. I used to love shopping for wrapping paper and Christmas cards. But the stores here just don't stock like they used to. It's sad.

Hope everyone is having a peaceful weekend.

Good morning Rat2 and Sara.

Glad your trip treated you well Rat2 :)

Our Thanksgiving was nice Sara, I really enjoyed not having to do anything but eat.

No snow down here in the south but it’s supposed to be unpleasantly cold starting tonight with possible winter mix falling Monday. Not looking forward to that.
