Oh that’s terrible, your first day back on the job too! Stay alert!

Today was training and range day. Kiddos will be back tomorrow morning. I suspect our alarm rate is going to be rather high due to the kids being off for two weeks.

Oh well no kids to deal with today, you’ll make up to it tomorrow. :)

    Good night everyone. :)

My SO passed away the day after Thanksgiving. So yeah, I haven't been sleeping well at all.
I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. I can sympathize because it happened to me also. Sending good thoughts to you and a big virtual hug.

It is January, and I am perspiring! That just is not right. In the 70's today. Sheesh!

Well, I loaded up the back of Dad's truck, and it is ready to go to the thrift store. I saved out stuff that I think some of my friends would like. I am just going to put it in the trunk and let them pick what they want. Sort of like a mobile yard sale where everything is free. I love giving stuff away to people as long as they appreciate it.

Perry got home, sat down in the recliner, and was asleep instantly. I'll wait as long as I can but I am a bit peckish. We are having leftovers. I am too tired to cook. I never got to the grocery store today, so I asked Perry to bring home some milk. First time that has happened in 615 days.

Looking at the long range forecast for the rest of the month. I think Winter forgot about us. Not that I'm complaining. I'm more than happy to keep the temps in the 50s and 60s. One more day in the 80s, and then some decently comfortable temps. Definitely appreciated when we're kitted out in full gear. Body armor is a hell of an insulator!

    Mornin' all.

Looks like we'll get a sprinkle or two, nothing worth writing home about. Hopefully we'll get something measurable, but it's not looking good.
    Good morning retired. :)
Fingers crossed for you, nothing here so far.
