Mornin' all.

It's looking like Spring took a vacation and decided not to show up and Summer was more than ready to step up to the plate. Another warm one today and it doesn't look like we'll see any rain soon. That's not good as we're already behind the power curve for rainfall totals, especially in southern portions of the state. Kind of hate to say this, but we're going to need a hurricane or two hit the coast to bring reservoirs back up to par.

I can deal with low 80s. Start hitting the 90s and higher? Yeah, that's too warm, especially if I'm kitted out for work. Body armor is an excellent insulator.

Monday, part deux. Ugh... Ever have your windows open at night, only to be woken up at an ungodly hour due to some loud bird right outside the window? I need some night vision goggles. Already have the buckshot for the shotgun.

**sigh** I swear that the USPS is run by idiots. Was supposed to get a package today, only to find it has overshot it's mark by two states. Left Georgia on the 21st only to end up in Arizona. So today's delivery is delayed by two days while the package makes its way back to Texas.

Can honestly say I’ve never been woken by a bird retired. . That’s a bummer about your package, it seems to happen a lot these days.

The weather is the same here. One day, I go to the gym wearing shorts, and the next I have to come back in and get a sweater. I swear, it just cannot make up its mind. Sort of like me.

Got up a big pork order and spent the weekend delivering and collecting money. At least it was not raining. I do love the fresh pork. I got sausage, chops, and a 7 lb loin. Got it all packaged and vacuum sealed, and in the freezer. If he gets much more meat, I'm going to have to buy another freezer.
