Another warm one today with a high of 88 (probably 90 or more). Fueled up last night and was not happy. Considering ethanol is not imported and made in the US, why the heck am I paying a dollar more per gallon than I was 4 weeks ago?

I don't mind summer. I just hate it when it's hot while I'm working. The entrance I work at the school has no AC at all. By the time I get into work, it's already hot in the foyer and the fan we have just doesn't cut it. They're not going to do anything about it as the building is slated for closure at the end of the school year.

Will you have a new building next year?There isn't any new construction in the school budget. Like many school districts across the nation, ours is seeing a decline in enrollment. So they're making hard decisions on consolidation in order to conserve funds.
They haven't made a decision yet as to where the various functions in our building are going to disperse to. And, to be honest, they may decide not to close the school after all. Whatever happens, I've been given the green light to follow the night school where ever it ends up at. Whether it's in the existing building or follow it to another campus.
