Mornin' all.

Woke up this morning to a non-functioning Keurig. I am not happy as I just bought this one not too long ago. Going to see if there's something easy I can do before tearing into the company. This is the third one I've purchased in as many years.

Good morning Fran and retired. :)

Ugh sorry to hear about that retired. I gave up on the keuriq and bought a cheap mainstay kcup maker. Works just fine for me.

I got it working again. Looks like it was a kinked water line in the base. Yeah, I may decided to give up on the Keurig and go with another brand once this one finally gives up the ghost. I think I'll finally pull the trigger on a dual use machine that makes honest to goodness espresso as well as allowing me to use the k-cups.

Oh boy, just more things to go wrong with it.

I’ve gone through a lot of coffee machines over the years, now I’m back to the basics.

I do love my espresso. And an espresso shot in your normal coffee is the bee's knees!

    Mornin' all.

Ever have a contraption that was simple in theory, but in reality the damned thing was a pain in the you know where to get set up properly? Have a pool skimmer that's supposed to travel all over the bottom of the pool and suck up the debris that sinks to the bottom. It's assisted with a "jet" nozzle at the rear of the gadget that helps it keep things on the straight and narrow. Move that nozzle and it's hell trying to get it back on track. Spent the better part of yesterday afternoon trying to get this thing adjusted properly and it still isn't right. Will be heading out soon to adjust it some more. Ugh.

I’m dreading the time when I’ll have to buy gas.
I feel sorry for Perry. He had a quarter of a tank and went to fill up. It was $140. Sheesh! When it finally gets warm and stays that way, he will bring one of his motorcycles over because that will be the cheapest way to travel to work now that he has 30 some miles to drive. Bless his heart.

I hope the prices start coming back down soon. (fingers crossed)

The weekend is almost over, but it was pretty productive. The Moose had crab cakes, and they were fantabulous. I love all the stuff he prepares, but his seafood is exceptional. The restaurant he used to work at specialized in seafood.

Perry mowed yesterday with a sweatshirt on. I stayed inside nice and toasty. He finally got his mower working again. He mowed his yard, and the woman down the street from him. She struggles with it, so he started mowing hers last summer. She did give him some cookies (store bought

) for Christmas, but I think I would at least give him a little bit to help with gas. Oh well, I think it is nice that he does it. I like the fact that he does mine too!

His friend came up and brought Perry a cabinet. A very old lawyer's office type. It has 3 shelves with glass doors. I am not sure how I will like it in the house because it is pretty big. His friend was supposed to help him move it, but said he missed his girlfriend and had to get back. Now we have to return his trailer to him, and it is a 3-hour drive one way. It is a very nice motorcycle trailer, and I like it. I thought about asking if he wanted to sell it. He does not have an MC. He just bought it to help him move from Washington to Virginia. It would be nice to have it take his bike to the beach. Perry said we could even camp in it, but my idea of camping comes with a free continental breakfast and a hot tub.
