Our ac has been working off and on for some time now.

Been putting it off as long as possible. Rates went up again this year so I'm leaving it off until I can't stand it any longer.

These weather systems that are headed our way could be trouble. Some models are predicting 10-11 inches of rain once it's all said and done by the end of next week. Oooof!

That’s a lot of rain. We’re in a drought but usually that kind of rain just floods and runs off. Guess we’ll see how that goes.

    Mornin' all.

Yeah, it's not good when we get it all at once. It'll be good for the lakes and stuff, but it's too much too soon for the underground aquifers. I was reading up on some of my favorite fishing spots in South Texas and one of them (Choke Canyon) is at 7.5% capacity. They really need the rain down south and hopefully this round of storms will help out in that respect.

Guess we got a wee bit of rain over night. Car's wet.

Supposed to ramp up later this afternoon, though. A few errands to run this morning before the storms hit.

Good afternoon Dale, Retired and Fran :)

Sounds like our weather is the same as yours minus those temps. Lol! We hit 50 today though so I’ll take it but if I remember correctly there was snow within the last week. Not too much.

The days have blended together and gone by so fast these last few weeks. Just busy with work/training and there are only 2 mos left before kiddo graduates. Oh how I would love to go back to him turning 16. Can’t believe C is and B will be in a few months. Love that you are still doing the waffle tradition, Joey.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Missed you guys bunches!!

I'd be happy to see that as a low. Right now it's been in the high 60s for our night time lows. A tad high for my liking as far as sleeping temps are concerned.
