I give up. I have a dear friend who has never, ever experienced a good ol' rattle the windows Southern thunderstorm. So for the past 2 months, I've been hoping we get one so I can record it and send her a video. Think we've gotten one since I've planned to do this? NOPE! I was kind of excited with the forecast for this weekend thinking I'd finally be able to record a decent storm. Phooey! We've gotten showers and rain, but absolutely no storms at all.

Today's my Monday. Called off yesterday due to fighting a sinus headache from Hades. Been a LONG time since I've had one that bad.

We both had food poisoning last night, it was awful. I don’t think I’ve ever had it before. Soooo I’ve got some yucky cleaning to do in a while.

Back to normal this morning, thank you. Even the heavy duty stuff wasn't touching that headache.

Sinus headaches can get bad, I’m glad you’re better.

I am officially tired of this weather pattern. Not getting nearly enough rain and I am so done with the humidity.

Whew! Took me forever to get all caught up. I have been busy and tired. I went to the doctor about my mouth, and she gave me a mouthwash that you swish and swallow. Didn't do a thing. She told me to go to a dermatologist.

I had my appt, and when I went out to the car, I thought of a question I forgot to ask her. I went right back in, and the receptionists went to get her. Came back and said she was with a patient. I told her I did not mind waiting. She went back again and came back and told me my doctor said to make another appointment. GRRRRR

I am currently looking for a replacement.

We have had beautiful weather. Took 3 of our 4 motorcycles out this weekend. Had to take them to the carwash because they were yellow from the pollen. We probably need some rain, but I sure am enjoying this weather. Got up to 87 today, and that is a bit warm for me, but it was still nice in the shade. I will just be glad when all the pollen is gone. I have never had an issue with it until the last couple of years. I guess a lot of things change as I age.
