Good afternoon Dale, Fran and retired :)

That’s pretty cool, retired. You reminded me to go check the eagle cam that I watch sometimes.

Our weather has feels like it’s gone backwards, more like fall/winter than spring.

Dale, it’s about 35 min away. He has decided to commute. I’ve got mixed emotions about that but ultimately his choice.

Hope you all are having a relaxing day!

    Hi Sara.
Is it the driving back and forth that’s bothering you?

We’ve had some really nice days recently but they’re pretty much over now I think. Very much like Spring, heat in the morning and A/C in the afternoon.

I finally got caught up on reading here. I have got to start getting on more often. It has just been one thing after another. My mouth is still driving me crazy. I think I am going to try to get an appointment with Dad's dermatologist. I liked him a lot.

The four-year-old water heater stopped working. No hot water for me. I hate that. Perry changed something in it, and we thought it was fixed. Nope. Then he changed something else, and again, we thought it was fixed. Oh well, call an electrician. He thought it was fixed, and I did not have any hot water again. Sheesh!

He came back today, and I think they have it fixed this time. I took one long, hot shower! It was glorious.

    Hi Rat2
Just imagine if we had to get our hot water the old way! First we’d have to chop some wood and start a fire, then we’d have to boil a big pot of creek water. Then we would pour it in a tub and add some cold water to get a lukewarm bath.

    Mornin' all.

Going to be a warm one today with a high in the mid 90s and then a cold front comes through late this afternoon. And, in true Texas form, the thunderstorms are supposed to kick up. Looks like it's going to start before I can get home, too. Yuck!

13 and a half days (last day of school is just a half day) to go!
