LOL, I came up with an over-ambitious design for my SECOND mod! 8-o Once I got the easy parts done I got sidetracked on a juice feed mod and the thought of finishing something that uses carts seems like a waste of time (instead I waste my time building NOTHING!)
I know what you mean. Every time I see an new mod that uses just carts, I do tend to get bored very quickly.
Unless it has a new switch or some other new design feature.
Where o where is HP? I hope he's working furiously to continue the history of shock & awe! It'd be a bummer if he was just at a job or off napping somewhere!
LOL
We must never allow HP to nap!
He must mod 24/7, without food or sleep, maybe just a beer or two. to keep him going.

Hi to all,
I have just returned home, again, need a little time to catch up with all posts,
Watch this space.
Peter..............
Welcome back - and you'll have to check out HP's tiny all epoxy mod!
How's yours running? Still good? What have you been working on while away? Hopefully more mind-blowing mods? Please tell me it wasn't work that kept you from building?!!?
Mike how is your mod coming along?
Mike.(wife calls it lazy!).
Thanks for the offer Clumsy, I may take you up on it.Peter..if you ever have a problem ordering anything from the states...let me know, and i can order it and ship it right out to you. It's no problem, I send things regularly to my friend's mum in London. Just wanted to throw that in there, in case i can be of any assistance.
I do agree about using a mechanical switch, but finding, high amperage switches with the exact spec required, is next to impossible.I really like the screw in bottle used in the newest version here and the mAhmba design. It appears to be a very user friendly design and quite elegant.
The mechanical switch should be much more reliable. (I am currently having switch issues... not burning out but being quirky and failing right out of the package - Argh!)
The only thing that should be done is to insulate the spring itself so that it is not part of the circuit. If you don't, and somebody puts the batt in flat side down, the circuit would (could) always be closed.
