When Jason posted here to give explainations, he said he was also working on the new design for the JBox with DNA20.
I don't believe we would get this one for a DNA12 ordered as it should be more expensive, and is the DNA20 already available ?
But i would prefer too one with the last dna not for the 20W but for the screen :glare:

Now at about 100 DAYS and I cannot get a response from Jason regarding my request for a refund or current status. Two weeks ago he finally responded to an inquiry I made through the website and said he would get back to me the next morning. nada.

I will see if there is anything I can do with my CC company or PayPal.

Anyone have another email address or any other form of contacting Jason? Its obvious the "Contact" tab on the JBoxshop website is ignored. I have tried a PM here, they are blocked. My hand has been forced and I have contacted my CC company and filed dispute, working on filing with PP. This saddens me has this could have all been avoided. I would still resolve with Jason IF someone has another way for me to contact him.

Sanman, thanks for the physical address. Had looked that up prior and found this (removed) This is just flat ridiculous! I know there are ppl on this very thread that know Jason and know how to get a hold of him, and it seems like nothing is being done. to say I'm a little chapped at this point would be an understatement.
So my "First Impressions of the JBox from JBoxshop.com"... Not good, Not good at ALL! Do yourself a favor and go buy yourself a Kick and be done with it. At least you will get something for your money.

I think you are right about we will not be getting the DNA20D chip since it will most likely be a different Jbox design. I agree with you the screen would be what would be cool. Not sure who the heck will vape 20 watts but I am sure there will be a few. Granted I think most will stay 12 watts and under I would guess. As for price I think the DNA12 was around 50 dollar just like what the DNA20D will be priced at when it comes out. I am sure Brandon will lower the cost of the DNA12 because of the new product if he hasn't done that already. So, price difference really should be much at all with the Jbox but it all depends on what is going to happen with the new design. Have an awesome week.

I sent an email a few days ago requesting the device or a refund immediately. I have not received a response yet.

I placed my order on 17 August. I have been very understanding (probably too understanding). I have only sent two emails since I placed the order. Besides the email I just mentioned, I also sent one requesting an update after 31 business days had passed. I was foolishly looking for it in the mail, and of course it never showed up. I received a response to that first email the same day. He said he was having issues with the coatings and that it should ship out early the next week.

I honestly have no problems waiting for a custom-made device, and I understand the time constraints due to being a single father and having a primary business. BUT this is a business, and communication is critical for customer satisfaction. Also, as others have stated, we have already paid a lot of money. How in the world can a person take $250+ from a customer and then not even answer an email regarding the status?! There is no excuse for this behavior other than an extended illness, etc. (which I don't wish on anybody).

How could I have been taken advantage of so easily? I am a fool for trusting him. Even if he is a good person and even if he has every intention of shipping out all of these devices, it simply doesn't matter at this point because all trust has been destroyed by his willful lack of communication. This is a blatant disregard for other people. I am disgusted. I regret ever ordering this device. I don't even want it. If I do get it, I don't even want to use it. Does that paint a picture for you? Yes, I am through with this yahoo.

I absolutely love the Vapeteam, but I haven't even watched it for the last two weeks because I am so disgusted by this issue.

Jim66, I 100% agree with everything you said. I have been sending an email every day requesting refund for the week and a half, today is my 100 day anniversary :toast: :p... joking aside. I have seen situations like this in the Archery world, and ppl will call the local authorities to retrieve their goods or monies, as it is theft and/or Internet fraud. I'm so hacked at this point if i do every receive it, I'm thinking of doing a review "4x4 vs JBox".

Agree on all points. What SHOULD have been a great experience is now a horrible experience. His community affiliation and the reviews by some of his friends gave me a kind of confidence that I could hand over $300. I will certainly be more careful next time.

I feel the same sentiment. Every week that passes without any sort of update or response just disappoints me a bit more and my patience wears a little bit more thin. It's just sad sad sad.

I did watch the VapeTeam the other day and they announced that Jason was not on the show because it was his daughter's birthday. While I totally understand and have no qualms with that, my wishful thinking was expecting to hear that he was out because he was working on his JBox orders...

That is exactly how I felt when I purchased it. I figured it had to be legit since he is a Vapeteam member that we see every week. Like you said Sanman, I will be more careful next time. I was looking at those wood box mods out of Poland called the Gepetto. There seems to be a lot of them out there so we know he delivers. It looks nice, and it is a variable voltage device. I really wanted a variable wattage box though.

Man that would have been nice Soulcage. You know, I have to assume that Dimitris is aware of this, and although they are friends, I am sure he isn't too happy about the negative light this is casting on one of his own. Maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part.

Ok was just checking out the Vape Team site... Why wouldn't someone just call in while the show is on and ask Jason WTH is going on? I'm sure they screen the calls, but maybe I'll give it a shot next Wednesday...Maybe setup a script that asked that question over and over again on the message boards during show time??

sanman, you must have a ton of restraint, if i lived in the same state I would be making a non violent visit.

To any that think I'm coming off too harsh, I get it.. I too am a single dad, work long hours to keep it all afloat. Sleep, little to none ever. No excuse, I have yet, to haft to resort to stealing. Yeah I said it. Stealing... have nothing to believe other wise.

What a sad story/topic it becomes now.
With my poor english it is not easy to try to phrase my feeling but i'll try :
First review of the JBox sawn on the uk forum and loved this small wood box, beautiful and easy to use with usb chargor and DNA, i really thought i found the ultimate mod .
So contacted Jason and was worried about the fact of the need to send back the mod to change battery as it is not fast/easy from Europe and more expensive.
I asked Jason what would happen if he would stop to use ecigs or to build mods and he explained me he was a confirmed member of ecig, was doing show on vapeteam etc.. and that he will never let me down.
So i had a look to those shows and thought it was ok.
Ordered my 1st one than i received about 6 weeks after the order and really loved it and still use it almost every minute :p of the day as it is small, beautiful, easy to charge and give a very good vape.
So as soon i received i ordered second one and had (as before) regular emails with Jason, and then he soudainly stopped to answer (told me before he was really really busy with more and more orders).
Now i worry about the second JBox to receive and mainly what will happen if i need to change battery for 1st one or even second one if 1 day i receive it...
Disappointed too but have all a nice we, that's just money and f.... business !!!

I can understand what everyone is saying about lack of communication and agree it is unacceptable. Not sure what is going on with him myself.
I think you all should continue to watch VapeTeam regardless of this mod situation. Dimi works so hard getting that show together and getting the important e-cig information out to the community. I mean I don't want to take away from the other team member either I am sure they all work hard putting the show together.
I am saddened that this situation has happened and I really hope this all can be turned around and get better in the future. Sometimes when you have a business it has unforeseen humps and bumps and with time you fix them or you let it go. Only time will determine the direction.
I really hope everyone gets either product/ order updates or their Jboxes soon.
I am going to take the optimistic outlook on things because so many other people have it much worst than waiting for a mod.
I wish everyone a very "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"
