The new PHOENIX XL REBORN - ITS BEEN REBUILT!!!

I want the original Phoenix XL bottom coils back. :(

The new Reborns just aren't working for me. Out of six boxes of the XLs, only one didn't work right out of the box. All I had to do with that one was wiggle the battery post up a little to get it to connect. 1.5 mls lasted all day for me, I just filled up before I went to bed.

I'm having all kinds of issues with the Reborns. They don't hold enough, they're constantly popping (I hate that), and they don't fit well on my Riva (everything else I've used fit perfect). They're hard to get screwed on straight, and they're curved or bent or something. I have to use a big bore cone so that the carto won't tilt and lose the connection. They're a total PITA to take apart and clean. I'm also not getting very good flavor out of these. Burnt or dry hits. Just nasty.....

Any advice or tips? Or can we just get original XLs back PLEASE. My Riva and the XLs WERE the perfect setup for me. :(

I wish I could offer some advice, but I'm not seeing any of these issues with my reborns except for wishing they bumped it up to 1.5ml

after using 3 reborn xl.. i'm going to give a quick review..

first of all, they suck.. why?

1. holds less juice
2. wicking issues on all 3
3. flavor is no where as good as the original.. i have no idea why.. i opened them and looked.. they seem the same on the inside

when at home i use genesis or other rebuildables.. but out and about i use ce3.. these are just not cutting it... im constantly squeezing the tube to make juice wick.. if i forget to squeeze before a hit.. bam!!! dry hit in yo face!!!!

the coils are also super loud.. they crackle very loud and i think that contributes to the lack of flavor.. in my experience whenever something crackles like that it's either dying or about to die.. and i get no flavor..

if these stay the way they are i'm going to have to look for something else as my on the go device.. :(

I've been using the kanger t3 bottom coils. The design is a lot like the the phoenix and what the ravens were supposed to be.
They actually work really good. Great vapor and flavor easy to fill if I get a dry hit I just take a drag to suck juice into the wicking area and im good to go. Holds 2.4 ml. I like.

Sounds like you're not getting good flow.
What juice are you using?
Have you tried riasing the center post a tad to allow for more flow?

Other than that I'm at a loss becasue I find the reborns superior to the origionals in every respect except for capicity.
The two things that set this apart are the sealed bottoms, so no more condesentation from vapor on the battery terminal and the coil placement is more consistant.

I'm 10 for 10 with no problems (5-808, 5-510) and getting ready to oder some more.

I was a big fan of Kanger T2's and M3's (top coils). I tried the Kanger T3 bottom coil and it was easily the biggest piece of crap I ever put juice in. Total junk! Cheap plastic tank. Dopey plunger system to fill it. The mouthpiece fused itself on the tank threads and I ended up deforming it trying to get it off as well as cracking the mouthpiece (after trying a million other, less aggressive ways trying to take it off). After a couple of tanks it was thoroughly trashed and didn't even work. Big thumbs down for the Kanger bottom coil from my standpoint.

T3's can be got but I think you're wasting your money. I'd rather spend my time working with GV's on this Phoenix to see if we can make it better or go back to the originals.

Are you sure what you had was a T3? Most vendors are still waiting for them to arrive and it's my understanding they fill from the bottom, not the top fill with plunger system.

The mouthpiece is permanent and not meant to be removed.

I can't vouge for anything brand new. This was from a couple months ago and Carolina Vapes is still selling them. She doesn't call them T3's but then she doesn't call them anything other than Kanger Bottom Coil. I've seen other people call them T3's in the past. Wouldn't mind taking a peek at anything brand new. Kanger makes decent stuff (except for that bottom coil).

we held off the first batch because while some where perfect , others had issues and we ran into them, so we waited until they where improved, i tested the new one and now they are being shipped out, there is nothing stopping gotvapes form carrying every single product out there, but in order to make sure we get better products we turn many down and rather wait until they are improved.

Ya might wanna fix that post, Bronze. That is not the Kanger T3 you are describing there. The T3 does not have a plunger; the mouthpiece is fixed, not removable (as mentioned); and Carolina Vapes has not had them.

I've tried the T3 and really like it. I'm looking forward to the improvements in the GV version.
