Never mind as I can see that you are doing the tuck but in the picture, I can't see as to where the juice channels are clear.

Nice consistent coil by the way....

I usually do a quick check right before juicing it up with a small screwdriver, but the wick is so thick it expands again. Compared to a kayfun, these Lemos seem to really like a LOT of wick.

Interesting Partspro and you are right about the rayon, more is better. So if I have your angle cut right, what you are doing is allowing the bottom of the angle to rest on the deck and the top the angle to come in contact with the chimney?

I just press it against the side of the deck to make sure it isn't going to get into the threads and, after making sure the chimney is nice and dry inside and out, slide it over the top and thread the chimney on. No tuck needed, just fluff it to the sides and call it good.

What's the trick to getting such a perfect coil? And how do you position fingers to get enough tension on the legs? Mine always look a bit like something the cat dragged in ... :)

I usually use a jeweler's Phillips screwdriver to wind the coil on. I have a 2.4 mm I use for my Aqua coils and 3 mm I use for my Lemo coils.
On the Lemo, I leave the coil on the screwdriver. I set it initially so the ends of the coil are closer to the screw heads, then wrap the wire around the screws and tighten them down.
Then using the screwdriver inside the coil, I twist it so that the coil is centered and the ends are facing the juice channels. This tensions the coil and makes the winding nice and tight. Recheck to make sure the screws holding the legs are snug, then lift the coil up using the screwdriver high enough so there is clearance between the legs and the blocks.

CLS and Frenilla, mixed 50/50, in my Erl. Thanks so very much for your help! It took several tries, and it isn't the prettiest spaced coil on the planet, but it works! Woot!

You've got a section of the wick in the juice channels...I wonder if that could be done on a Lemo Drop? Weigh in Partspro and Distorto...

Ok, sorry I have been absent for a while...I sort of remember that you are having issues with leaking? What I ALWAYS did was to NOT cut the wick before putting the chimney on. You leave the wick very long on both sides, pull it up and insert the chimney over it then pull the wick down across the top of the chimney and cut it about 1/8th of an inch above the chimney then stuff the wick down inside the chimney and spread it out evenly inside of the deck. Here's a couple of pic's from the Lemo thread.

Try that, let me know if it doesn't work. I'll try to find a YouTube for you...I have to remember the name of the technique...

Shifting my own discussion from another thread..

Got my vapemail today. :mail:

So... just tried some Roundhouse. Hmm, no cherry, just rose.

Alawot -- there are a few people here who are very passionate about Roundhouse. Hopefully one of them will be along to give you suggestions on how to bring out that cherry flavor to the front a bit more.

Love the Roundhouse. A very relaxing vape. The rose can be very forward FOB but mellows over time with a good steep.( even though your bottle more than likely has a 2014 date on it, it hasn't been exposed to any air) If you want to bring it more cherry forward Alawot, crank up the heat! ;)

Yeah, date is 11/20/2014. I put it in an aspire mini with a fresh 1.6 Ohm coil that is reading at 1.7. I usually vape this tank at 12-13 watts. How high should I take it? I never really pushed the mini past 15.

Ooh, That's a tough one. I wish I had an answer for you but I have no experience with an Aspire Mini and have always vaped Roudhouse in a Reo @ 0.7 ohms (25 watts with a fresh battery @ 4.2 volts) or a VW device with a 1.0 ohm coil between 17 and 30 watts. Sorry I can not be of more help. :(

So I cranked my Aspire mini (1.6 Ohm) up to 20 watts this morning. It toned down the rose and I think I was finally catching some cherry. Anyone else here run their aspire mini hot?

Probably posted this in the wrong thread. In case I get busted, will ask here: I'm breaking out the new Wakonda in the morning. Any suggestions for heat? I'll be using a 1ohm coil, and can go to 20 watts on a P3 or 40 watts on a Hana. Toppers can be KFL+, Ruzgar (but I don't like it), Subtank mini or Erl. Thanks!

I know the Provari had filters for rattlesnake effect, but a hana with an evolve chip is probably just as good. I would try the P3 at around 8.5-9watts and see how you like it click up until you find your happy place.

LB, I very rarely go over 15 watts with any liquid but that's just me. I hope someone comes along with a better suggestion for you. :)

You're a watt higher than I've ever gone... Just that a couple of folks have suggested very high heat for some juices - higher than any mod I own can deliver! I usually start at 10 watts and work up. If Wakonda likes a little more heat, I'll start higher. I'm an impatient little bird!
