For me important thing is convenience. So when I decided to move from rebuilding of protank coils to RTA I bought Taifun GT2 and kayfun V4. Rather happy with them. But for convinience new subohm tanks (like subtank) are even better - they have a choice of screwing in prebuilt coil on the go, when there is no time/tools/place to rebuild. I am waiting for something like this appear for tootle puffers. I'll buy one.

The Kayfun has like zero air so that would be tough to match.

However that Taifun can be quite a tank. I have a couple and I remove the AFC completely.

So I have a Triton set up right now on a Provari. It has a 1.8oh coil in it. It is one sweet running tank. Kayfun people may fine it extreme but a Taifun person might just like it.

Disagree quite vehemently. Kayfun has quite a lot of airflow, but can be adjusted so that a tootler can enjoy it. Only a lung huffer would say it has "zero air."

I can lung hit my KFL. It's tight, but I can get a 5 - 6 second DTL hit off it and a pretty nice cloud at 20W.

I think there are also differences in airflow depending on the Kayfun -- Kayfun Lite doesn't have adjustable airflow, and I found them quite lacking in air, and very prone to burning the wick; to have good airflow, you need a Kayfun Lite PLUS. Which can go from tight tootle to whooshing, depending on how you adjust the screw.

This thread is dangerous.

Thanks to your suggestions, cough....cough....@AndriaD , I am now purchasing an Ehpro Kayfun clone. Will also be trying out two rocket rtas this weekend for the missus and myself.

I've been far less happy with my single EHpro, than with my Tobecos; the chimney-top, in the EHpro, does not have the cone-shape on the inside, but the tobecos do -- and that cone-shape is critical for great flavor.

My clone Kayfun was the 2 airhole EHPro one. I liked that better than the authentic KFL+. I can do a super tight draw, but eventually my cheeks start to hurt, lol! And I liked the Lemo more than either. The way I have them adjusted is the perfect (to me) tootle draw. And yes, I tootle the Lemos :). I like them best that way. I've put crazy builds in them to experiment, and everytime came back to a 1.3-1.4 ohm coil and 14-15W. This is a tank I have kept for over a year, and recently adopted an unwanted Drop. Poor thing was a little abused, but its happy now.

Any Tootle Squonkers out there? I'm experiencing much joy with a cheap Terminator squonk box from FT with an Infinite Lava dripper (Magma clone) converted to bottom feed. The most hassle free, satisfying vape I've found. My beloved Taifuns and Erlkonigins are destined to gathering dust.

I tootle squonk. I like small chamber drippers: Cyclone, Divo, Nuppin.

I have a Velocity that can be bottom fed, but its not going to work well on my mech squonkers. I am researching regulated squonkers for that beasty. I have it on a Skyfall squonk tank now and on a 100W mod running 55W. So if I keep this atty, it needs the right mod, which I don't have.

I am spoiled by the Kayfun v4. I've got a Aqua v2 and Goblin mini in my shopping cart right now.

Any more ideas? Thanks

@Oregon Linda you posted your three favorites earlier in this thread, it was an Erlkonigan an Aqua v2 and ... something. I can't find the post again

Edit: found it Taifun gt2

Try it!
An amazing little tank, I just love it! Thirsty little bugger though. :D

Wicking is the key with mesh straws from the tank section, I had it flood with the PTFE straws.

At the moment I don't have any mesh - I've never used it before. So I'm going to have to order some and then find some vids on building it before I feel confident that I can do it.

I have a regular Taifun GT II that I really like a lot. The flavor isn't quite as good as what I'm getting from my Erls, but I've so far only tried one build. It was really easy, so I'm hoping the GS isn't a lot harder. Just a question of how to use the mesh.

Boden, actually those are the only 3 RTAs I've ever tried. I started out a few weeks ago by building the Erls I've had for months and was afraid to try. :D That worked out so well that I ordered several more clones to try. I've still got a Taifun GS2, a Rose, and a Kayfun 3.1 that I haven't even tried yet. I really wish I'd done this a long time ago. I'm having fun with it and discovering that I can get a much better vape quality than even my GS Airs gave me.

You can get mesh cheaply on ebay. I'm using 400 in mine and its doing well with both 50vg and 70vg juice.

If you can't get any mesh drop me a PM and I'll put some in the mail. Don't care for it myself.

Just got an email that a new tootle puffer mod is out.

DNA 25 chip with TC and fires down to 1w. VaporDNA is the site.

May I ask where you ordered the Erlkonigan clones from?
