This is an excellent idea ... if these work as good as it sounds, there will be a lot of people that have empty shells and caps lying around. I bought 6 of the 3 mL, so when those die it will be nice just to replace the tank part and re-use the shell and cap!

not to be used separately but as a replacement when one dies.
to save a few bucks only buy the guts (tank whatever) separately and stick it in the leftover shell from the dead one instead of buying a whole complete new unit. lol

I picked up "stardusts" from other sites on the cheap and they all sucked, probably knock offs. The real deal from gotvapes is working great. I'll always pay more to get actual tested products and the staff to back them up.

Good to hear. That is how the other vendors sell theirs that are similar but not bottom coil. I don't use the caps or the mouth piece anyways and one or two sleeves is all I need plus plenty of the carto tanks.

Amen to that! Just got a 5-pack of "Stardusts" yesterday that was supposed to be a "deal", and every single one of them makes my juice taste burned. Now instead of saving $10 I have 5 useless clearomizers to throw out.

we all know knockoffs happen but with stardust you neeed to be careful, there is now 20 knockoffs and i have them as they send them to me for cheaper prices to test, not the same at all, so be careful.

My only real question is, why is everything ego based? I grabbed an ego thread adapter but... Seems strange. I have some ego batts lying around anyway. I guess most people have an ego or two lying around.

Not sure what you are referring to when you say "ego based"? I ordered the "PHOENiX™ Bottom Coil XL 1.5ml" cartos and they have a standard 510 thread which is standard on most popular PVs Not positive but I think your Provari will have a 510 thread.

Some of this stuff, like the Stardust and a couple of others, are made to screw onto Ego cone threads, so you can't just use any 510 connection with them. Provari and other fat mods won't work without an eGo adapter.

I see where your coming from such as in a box mod with a recessed 510 connector into the top of the mod box as 1 example.

What threw me was the question, "why is everything ego based?" guess he was thinking about the Phoenix 3ml.

As it works out most of GotVapes inventory is 510 threaded.

Not the XL's, a bunch of tanks, cryptos, etc. Lots of them have ego threads. Not really an inconvenience because GV sells an ego threaded adapter at a fair price. Just a wonder of mine.

Shouldn't have said everything, should have said many of the new carts/tanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't eGo and 510 threads the same thing? What makes it an eGo is the skirt at the bottom to make it look good on an eGo style battery?

well, yes, but some components, like the Cryptonite, and Phoenix tank don't use the 510 threads, they attach and connect via the 'skirt threads'
