Exactly, just wondering why this is ego based, like I said, most people have an ego or two lying around and the adapter is only $4 I believe. Just bothers me because I hate egos. Bad experiences.

Am I missing? The Phoenix don't appear to be only for eGo.

I'm with you on this. I could pick up an adapter, but for the most part if it don't fit my 510 I don't need it. And I'm certainly not going back to the ego to use an ego based product. That's OK though, I have plenty to choose from with the vision, flux and phoenix lines.

Unless it's specified 808 most everything GotVapes sells has 510 threads. The Cryptonite and Phoenix tank just like the Stardust are made to cover the threading used for a cap on an ego. So essentially it's acting like a skirt to cover up that threading. You will always connect a cartomizer using the 510 thread not the skirt.

I prefer them needing adapters. I use sealed 510 extensions and 510-to-ego. Just looks better.

Not the XL's, a bunch of tanks, cryptos, etc. Lots of them have ego threads. Not really an inconvenience because GV sells an ego threaded adapter at a fair price. Just a wonder of mine.

Shouldn't have said everything, should have said many of the new carts/tanks.

They are a nuisance to those of us who don't use the eGo battery connection.

Didn't realize GotVapes has so many cartos with the eGo type connector, suppose because that's not something I'd be looking for. .
