I prefer them needing adapters. I use sealed 510 extensions and 510-to-ego. Just looks better.

I don't mind the 510 to eGo adapter either. Use it with the C8 and Stardust on my Provari, and they work great !!!! Still use the eGos once and awhile too. The adapter(s) also work well with my Omega (though not used much anymore).

Just received a pack of the bottom coil phoenix cartos. I have a few CE3 XL clearomizers from another vendor. I will have compare them. There are some visible differences around the coil but let's see how they perform.

Good to hear you have both I'm real curious to hear the comparison.

And I got mine! WOOT! Being a new yorker is good for some things after all :)
I'm a New Yorker too and I placed an order as soon as they posted them. I also bought a lot of juice from another supplier that day, they are based in Tuscon. USPS tracking said they would both be delivered on Monday. I came home to a package this morning and it was the one shipped out of Tuscon. I was happy to get one of them early but I wish it was the new toys.

I certainly hope they are better than the CE3-XL. The two 2.8-3.0ohm cartos I've tried so far have not lived up to the hype at any voltage.

I have been using the CE3 XL at 2.4-2.6 ohms and they have been excellent. I've been using one carto for almost a month. Now that it's broken in, it's even better than new. I did have some issues with thick juices. I open it and dry burn it after a couple of fills.

I'll see if the Phoenix handles thick juices better.
