Just watched the video....think I got the whole process...but one question. I have some CE3s (I know they are not the same). Cleaned them a couple of times and everything was fine until today. I turned them upside down today to fill them again....and all the juice ran out around the sides of the top silicon plug.

When I pulled the plug out of the top....I couldn't seem to get them by grabbing them by the middle....so I stuck the paper clip down between the plug and the tube. I'm thinking I messed up the seal by doing that. In the video....Chris used the syringe needle to pull out the plug.....did he stick it down the middle hole???

I have 2 boxes of Phoenix and 2-3ml arriving tomorrow....want to make sure I do it right. Think I ruined CE3s by messing up the seal?????

i think he actually stuck it in the fill hole and went from there. and thats what i did with the one i have too

sparkyth67 I don't see why not, but it might not be necessary (just guessing based on my use of fluxomizers). If you flush/rinse thoroughly, dry the tube and dry burn as bad did in the video, you shouldn't have any residual taste in there, and if there is, it'll be gone the second you fill

syringe flushing is most useful with filler cartos where you can't completely take things apart and dry burn without a huge PITA and practice; with clearos just rinse dry and dry burn and you're good to go. Just my opinion :) If its a really stubborn flavor (e.g. menthol) a soak in vodka (highest proof you can get) or vinegar (doesn't always work if its really strong flavor) will solve the issue

If you let them dry out completely do they still need a dry burn? I clean my stuff then it sits on a papertowel for a week or so.

ok here is a new million dollar question i don't recall seeing asked yet.

how about replacement tubes?

i got around to cleaning the one i have and i found small vertical cracks in the center area of the tube. to the best of my knowledge it hasn't been dropped or squeezed or anything weird and they are not the kind of cracks caused by juice reactions so i am totally stumped. nothing else wrong with it so a new tube would fix it right up and though it might fit i don't really want to try a flux tube (all i have is dark ones i don't really care for)

getting extra tubes is not a issue, these tubes are not the same as ce2 tubes, they dont get affected by juice but eventually will get abused with time, so ill get replaceable tubes, they found these tubes give a clean taste versus others.

Dumb question....my order just arrived a few minutes ago. Had just enough time to look at everything, but no time to play....LOL. The 3ml Phoenix arrives assembled.....I unscrewed the top....but how do you get the cover thingy off?? I've tried pulling, unscrewing....what is the secret??

I had decided that it just didn't come off and then I watched the video Chris has up on the website about the phoenixes (check the product page). He screwed it onto a battery and just lifted the case off. It's like magic! :p

And ack! What a taste! I blew the primer out as best I could but I guess I'm just gonna have to vape it for a bit. I can taste the juice under it, though. The primer tastes sorta nutty, blech.

Tons of vapor, I love how it's made so it doesn't leak at all. I thought I would get a syringe with it, but it looks like that's just the little phoenixes. No worries, I already got one on hand. Not to mention it's gorgeous!! I already know that I'm gonna need some more cases in various colors. :D

Got mine in today, Ordered 2 boxes.

So far, The first one gave me dry hits like mad. I took it apart and cleaned it, but still getting dry hits like crazy. So I put that one aside for now and opened a second. The second one is perfect! Tons of vapor, great flavor, no gurgles, no leaks... just perfect each hit. I really hope the first one was just a fluke and the other 8 I have are as good as this second one.

You've got me worried... Mailman is at my apartment complex now, filling the boxes. Having a bad time with the ce2 supremes, had a terrible time with the micromizer bottom coil. I really hope these are a viable option. I just got a few of the Phoenix xl and the cryptos... I'm praying to the invisible pink unicorn and the flying spaghetti monster right now.

Personally I'm still having issues. They are better for
sure, but still having to primer suck or tube squeeze every 2-3 hits to get the wick going.

And I do get bubbles cOming out of the wick slots as I vape, so it's not like it's not happening.

Gonna play more when I get home

If anyone has a sure fire way to eliminate frequent dry hits please lay it on me

Already tried 100% PG, adding a second wick on top of the first, priming the coil with juice before filling...I even took one and widened the slots with my dremel (vertically) and one of that changed anything. No leaks or floods with that mod though.

Really want to get this running at 100%!

OK, got my phoenixi... First one (2.4 - 2.6 ohm reading at 2.7), seems ok. Right out of the box!!!!!!!!! Filled it, gave it 10 minutes to soak. Chain vaping doesn't seem like it's possible right now, but, they may break in. I only tried one though. As long as I give 5-10 seconds between every 2 or 3 vapes or a priming hit without hitting the button this one is fine. Flavor is great. Using a provari at 3.7 volts. I'll use this one at work (I got called in) and bring a deluxe just in case. I'm going to fill a crypto and take it to work too. The Viva nova... I'll play with that tonight.

I have everything except the 3ml phoenix. Bad threw in a bunch of extras. Thanks man! You are awesome, MiT sucks. After trying just one for 15 minutes. I like it 100 times better than the new ce2's and 1000 better than the micromizer.

Couldn't wait... Viva nova at 2.4 ohm 4v, nice vape. Really nice for the first few hits... Taking all this to work with me.

Edit, a little dry at 4v, droped to 3.7. Seems better for now.

Tried another phoenix with madvapes fried apple. Works great. That stuff is a bit thinner than the 50/50 I usually use. Seems to vape better than the first one with thicker juice. Going to have to switch to 30/70 vg/pg...

OK, off to work. I'll try tp update from my phone but, for now they seem like they work as advertised!!!!!!

Tried a crypto after a 15 minute soak after filling. Seem to be getting dry hits. I'll have to play with it after work.

*Everything at 3.7 on a provari

I Just got my 2 boxes of Phoenix 2.6-2.8 ohm and my Vivi Nova tank, have not tried the tank, but filled up 1 of my phoenix's it reads 2.7 ohms, and im chain vaping at 4.5 volts on my provari... not a dry hit yet im suprised, from what i heard it wouldnt let you chain vape till after break in... but somehow its working (btw 80 pg / 20 vg liquid in it), i think i just found the boge replacement for me anyway o.0

Will update later about the vivi nova and about how all of my phoenix's perform, but i probably will be using them 1 at a time till they burn out lol.

small update... 5.5v still no issues, tried 6v and from the first hit i could tell the second would have been dry, i have gone through almost a 3rd of the 1.5 ml in 20 mins though, think its a juice hog at higher volts. still satisfying at 3.7 all the way to 5.5 oddly enough, i usually vape at 4.5 to 6 volts depending on ohm rating of the device im using
