If the new device i created is any indicator, i don't think atty's are dead. Though i too think rebuildables are awesome and have their place, it would also be nice to have a device were you can just instantly replace the atomizer with no fiddling and yet still get the vapor and flavor of a rebuildable. Food for thought at any rate...

Absolutely you are right. Some people love them. I just get bummed after 2 days on an $8 Atty and having to toss it or clean it. I love that it costs me almost nothing to build a new coil.

Sounds like the Strata is no one trick pony if I get your drift ;)

If I had to pick one atomizer out of any I vape now or any I've tried in the past, including rebuildables, I'd say it's a good 901. I just love 'em.
I'm vaping one rebuildable right now and it kicks .... - no arguing that. But as expert as one can get with them there's always a fiddle factor. You have to make a commitment to them in terms of time or money or both. Sure a rebuildable can save you money in the long run but how many of us have shelled out $100+ for something which didn't meet expectations? You get a box of 5 good standard atomizers and you can make them last for months and months and never have to worry about keeping up with the Joneses or the next iteration in a line of ever more tricked-out contraptions. I try, not always successfully, to keep my blinders on and spend my money on reliable and cheap or things that I've heard are so stupid good I think I'd be missing out on something special. Or anything made by Super-T, which up 'til this point have been not-so-cheap *and* stupid good. I hope the Strata lives up to the standard.

Yes I had more hassel before also. Now with the RBA's life is so much better for me.
Hope you did not read that I would consider RBA's more hassel. For me they are the best thing for now.
To put down my Genisis will requier something real awesome .... emmm like the Strata

Oh no. I knew what you were saying. I just thought I would expand on it. There's just so much I LOVE about the RBA. ;)

So, can I try to pry for hints?

Does this other device use standard coils and silica? Or does it use a proprietary material as well?

Wow, so many cool devices in the works!

I know, right? Wasn't that post such a tease? hahaha!

Food for thought? How about tempting my tummy with the aroma from the Super T's kitchen?!

I was going to try to set money aside for this, but then found the specials page on the Super-T website. So much for that!

We sure will. We also drafted up a genesis style as well as a top tank design, so we now have three different feeder rebuildables. I guess thats the easy part, getting the machine shops to turn them out, not so easy :)

A bit confused now. Three designs would be the following:
1) Top tank PrecisePlus design
2) Top tank 510 design
3) Genesis style design

Would that be accurate? What would be the differences between 2) and 3) in practical terms and which one would be better for a Shockwave?

Not exactly, I think the three types are..
1. Strata tank which comes with a proprietary wick which David has not yet revealed, this will be available as a full pv, as well as an add on that screws onto your precise in place of the top cap, and as a universal device that has male style 510 threads so it can be used on most 510 devices. It has been said that the Strata can also be used with a stainless steel wick like a genesis style atty.
2. Genesis Style tank, not sure on the differences when compared to the strata.
3. Top Tank Design- only info about this is the obvious from the words listed, it will have the tank on top and coil below.

I think its not to the point where we can know which will be best for what yet as none of them have even been explained in too much detail. Also, since the details have not been divulged yet, we do not even know if all versions will be available in a universal version or not. So, from the info that we know for sure, the strata will for sure have a universal version that will work on the shockwave so that one will be best for the shockwave for now :)
