I'll definitely try and make this months meet buddy :D as for my job and it taking me anywhere anymore the working for said company is all done this week I put my notice in a few weeks back with my day job. Me and a friend/business partner have decide to lanuch a Used car / auto repair business I've doing a mobile mechanic business for some time on the side and now my client base is gotten so large that its time for me to pursue it on a full time basis plus its allows me to stay in town and my family needs that but you can bet the next time I make the trip to see my brother in NJ I'll have to slip up there to Maine and see the Modfather:D

~P~... I'm so very glad for you that you can stop traveling so much as part of your job, and I'm also delighted that your part-time career is becoming your full-time career. You certainly deserve it!

Good morning Reonuts. Got home this morning around quarter 'til 3 only to discover that sicko burglar had broken in and changed all my electronic clocks but yet left my mechanical clocks untouched. What kind of a sick mind would torment an old man like this?

I'm going to start carrying a bigger gun... and a meaner dog.

Now I have no idea when NASCAR starts, I'm so confused.

Afternoon Reokin! Today is super lounging day for me. I spent the last few days helping my Sis build a new deer blind and clearing out some brush and debris on the property she'll be hunting in a couple of weeks.
I stopped hunting a few years ago, but I help her clean up and take out bait and such....

the payoff is lotsa venison in my freezer!

What! You thought i worked that hard out of pure loving generosity?!:lol::lol:

DH hasn't hunted for years but I guess he wants to go next season.

I don't worry about the meat....he has shot one in his whole hunting life time!

She looks embarrassed about her bad hair day, Jen.
She was embarrassed...that was when we lived in the city and I was just learning how to groom. She much preferred days at the salon, which was aptly named "The Perky Poodle"
Now she is just a poor country girl, always with a home haircut.

Yeah, but they sure can jam!!!

BTw, don't even try to call or go on line to Red Cross, at least not tonight, lol. you won't get through!

Good Sunday Fine REO Folk. Hope all are having a good day. Trying to decide whether to do marathon errands today or put off to tomorrow. Cowboys game tonight. Undefeated Falcons so maybe Cowboys will win. A girl can only hope.

I didn't get to see the concert as only heard it on Sirius Radio in car. Oldies but goodies.

DH's flight was delayed but eventually it came in from the ozone but we missed Boston Market 1K calorie chicken pot pies by 3 minutes. Major bummer for DH.

Had to use the AC Friday night and yesterday as day temps >80 and nights not cooling much. I'm fine with 80+ in the house but DH's corner gets really hot. Should be cooling off some this week which is great in more ways than one. Main is that the AC drain is plugged up again and condenser needs cleaning or replacing so it works really hard, then freezes up and stops cooling, and then overflow of drain. It's amazing how much moisture AC pulls out of air. Cool (but not cold) is hitting just in time. Gorgeous 68F and Sunny right now and temps will be getting into 40's at night so hoping I can put off AC repair for a bit. (Big Furnace for heating and cooling isn't affected by AC issues for heating only.) Condenser breakdown and clean out is min $800 but no guarantee of no leaks in future but replacement is >$2K. And we have to take care of whatever is plugging up the drain. Last time, a couple of months ago, repair guy said the blockage could be in main pipe which is a much bigger problem. The furnace is only 4 years old but our dust takes a toll. Past year I haven't cleaned the three layers of filters every four weeks as I've always done in past. Bad girl!!!

Still have only cold only running water in kitchen which is more disturbing to DH than me. I'm using the dishwasher as drain rack for hand washed dishes but had to drain the excess water out of bottom Friday. A "shamwow," what we call "yellow thangs," put into bottom and then draped over to dish pan on floor did the trick to slowly drain it without any more effort or hassle on my part. We've been purchasing them in bulk since mid 80's and have constant use for them. At "New Fort West" "yellow thangs" are as necessary as duct tape.

Everyone stay safe. Find and give some happy.

Hugs, Feisty Alice
