I have 2 roombas. The one upstairs is an old one but still works pretty good. I just got a new one - the 560 Pet Hair for down stairs. I find they work best if you run them everyday.

Ben the Dog does not like them because he thinks they are chasing him around the house.

He is the reason I got them. He sheds 24/7/365 even though he is short haired. I think it's the Pug in him.

TWO HOURS!!! What the hell's happened, has the earth been knocked off it's axis, are we living in a time warp, have all these campaign ads screwed up the TV schedule? What am I going to do for two hours... other than drink copious amounts of my delicious new coffee and make the TV room look like a rolling fog bank?

Ha! I got a shipment of Capella flavors in the mail yesterday, (had to replace the things I used to make Pietro's and Bert's 55 gallon drums of juice), and I got a bottle of Pumpkin spice that I've never tried. Time to put on the mad scientist hat, pull out a bunch of other flavors and invent a scrumptious Pumpkin Pie. May even add some whipped cream flavoring just for the added decadence.

(Also gonna scatter a bunch of poisonous snakes around the house in case those burglars come back while I'm taking my nap. That'll fix 'em.)

that's the thing nobody know what I like to vape but me. I've been DIYing since I started vaping and I don't do recipes or note keeping and my measurements aren't even that accurate aside from my nic because I know that it takes 10ml of 24mg nic in a 60 ml bottle to be right about 4mg the rest is a splash of this and a few drops of that. It's about the same way I cook I usually get good results

I'm doing some FSUSA Irish Cream I found in dedicated-for-juice cooler. I'm not enjoying it as much as I wish. We just can't get away from our FSUSA Applewood and butterscotches. I have some apple and a couple of "smoke," and "wood" flavorants. Hoping to do some 'speramenting this week to see if I can get close to the FSUSA Applewood as it's so very expensive. I've never found a recipe for it. We use the FSUSA Applewood as a base for all juices we vape. It has almost no noticeable "apple" and "smoke and wood" is very subtle. Hard to duplicate. Neither of us have found any fruit flavors we like in over 2 years.

Jack you need a real dog is all  or 2 if they get past my lab wolf x the old rotti lays in wait for them shes quiet and sneaky

Dawg hates me 'cause I had her fixed so she thinks it's fair payback to let people steal my stuff. On the plus side she is a German Shepherd, which as everyone knows is one of God's greatest creations... all other breeds are the Devil's spawn.

Rotti hates German shepherds they put tail between legs and run when they see her coming  and shes only 65 lbs  Edit : plus black dogs are best especially at night thieves dont see them until they show teeth its funny when intruders see the shiny white teeth glowing in the dark and they cant see the beast

She was embarrassed...that was when we lived in the city and I was just learning how to groom. She much preferred days at the salon, which was aptly named "The Perky Poodle"
Now she is just a poor country girl, always with a home haircut.

Wellllllllllllllllll................. I've seen Jen's grooming jobs. SHE IS A MASTER!!!!!!!!! Luckily Moe Doodle has a flat coat so only have to worry about tip of ear and .... matts but Curly Doodle would really love for Jen to be around all the time. He will sit for hours loving even dematting. Lucky for me he only looks scragly and doesn't matt as much as poodles. He got a lot more brushing when Sissy Dog was here as she thought he was ugly if his coat wasn't fluffy.

I see all this grooming stuff and it just affirms I will stick with my Lab type breeds  Love my Rotti but they dont live as long so yep Labs all the way :D

Gotta love short coats!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The worst most demanding coat we ever had was Cissy Briard. It needed brushing/combing several times a week which I didn't do. I took her to an Afghan grooming specialist one time when she was especially bad. She spent and 8 hour day on the table and a second for four hours. (No shaving as she was showing.) Woman said she thought Afghans were "bad" but nothing like Briards with especially heavy undercoat. Last few years, on a couple of occasions, I did do some shaving (not close). She loved it!!! I swore, if we ever got another Briard, I would look for one who's undercoat didn't meet the AKC standard. Their guard coat is supposed to be really hard like goat hair but really long. That doesn't matt easily.

Those are Canadian German Shepherds... they're too polite to be intimidating. Can't really fault them for it, it's just their cultural upbringing.

This is a REAL German Shepherd, ready for war and in jungle camouflage.

We go for the short haired dogs...easier all the way around.

The last dog, I learned about dog's ears...clean wise. Dogs with ears the flop down and cover the ears are harder to keep clean!!

The Doodles and Jake Mastiff have pretty on-going issues with ear irritation or infection exaserbated by constant in and out of pool. It's hard to keep their ears dry. Summer 2011 the Heeler girls who hardly ever swim had infections and they are upright eared. We figure picked up infection from spending so much time cleaning Jake's ears and he cleans Rosie Heelers ears. (Rosie also cleans the slime from Jakes jowls, his feet, and keeps his pecker clean. The latter he especially loves.)

I'm trying something new but I don't know results yet. It has rave reviews on Amazon and is not nearly as expensive as scrip ear meds. We get the oral antiboiotics in bulk so not so expensive but I hate keeping them on those so much. The product is Zymox and is an enzymatic w/o any steroids or antibiotics. For sure they tolerate it better than anything else. Dosing the Doodles and Jake is not too difficult but the Wild Things, Heeler Girls have to be sneaked up on to do almost everything. They don't even appreciate brushing.

We've had several German Shepperds.

The last one was the smartest dog that we ever had. We swore she understood every word we said!!

Did I mention that God, Devil thing?

Except for having a bad few moments when my dog spun around and tore off my left kneecap one night on patrol, (everything has a bad day now and then), he actually saved my life, or at the very least an unpleasant experience, when he alerted on two guys with rifles hiding in the bush about 80 yards away when I was doing a perimeter sweep while Air Force One was on a landing approach. They learned the hard way that it's not really a good idea to shoot at a guy with a trained German Shepherd on the end of a leash.

I love the sound of screams in the morning.

(When all was said and done I snuck him a biscuit. (A big no-no but he earned it. I still miss him.)
