I hope you find something you love Andy. Being stuck in a job you don't like just wears a person down. I consider myself very lucky being able to get paid for what I love to do (cakes, cookies and pies, oh my!), even if I am out of commission for a bit.
They are weird about baked goods here too. Can have a home bakery, but only if people make payment at your home. No selling at the markets unless from a commercial/restaurant kitchen. There are loopholes though, like you can deliver something, but the customer has to send payment to your home address.
Skimming through really fast. Jack texted me early evening yesterday, on the road. We're meeting for lunch in Fort Worth today. Sounds like he has very busy days ahead of him. Hoping he made it okay. I don't know how he does it. If I spent 15 hours on the road I'd probably sleep in the whole next day. Will report later.

So here's my idiot move of the week. Thought it was strange to have a doctor appointment on a Saturday, but here I sit- in an empty parking lot. Wondering now if maybe she said the 7th instead of the 2nd.

Mornin REOville! Jen, that sounds like something I would do! Hope everyone has a good Saturday. I'm headed up north to pick up my BF and get some lunch and do a little shopping for some Phoenix clothes. Snow is still very much present here, piles everywhere so you have to be very careful because you can't see cars or people around them. Weatherman is calling for rain Monday turning to ice and snow Tuesday, Mother Nature needs to get this all out of her system before I have to drive to the airport next Sunday at 5a.m. which will really be 4a.m. because of stupid daylight savings time. Have I mentioned how much I hate stupid daylight savings time? Cause I really do. Have a great Saturday!
I recently realized that one of the ladies at work is also a vapor she was outside the other day I thought she was having a .... so when I went in to get my weigh bill I had to make a snide comment. She whips out a Vmax so I give her the why don't you buy a real mod she gives me this puzzled look and says what do you know about it so out comes my trusty Reo and we had a great conversation. We live in a very small town so it's kind of nice knowing someone else. Lately we have been doing a bit of a juice swap I have taken her in a few juices and passed along some items I don't use and she has done the same.
Yesterday she informed me (all in fun) that I needed to get a tube mod to which I replied "I would rather have a box stuck to my face than have a C$&@ hanging out of my mouth" but hey I'm a guy
and we had a great conversation. We live in a very small town so it's kind of nice knowing someone else. Hoping that ya'll have a perfect Saturday.
Went back to Lowes to exchange my microwave, the reviews on it was so bad that I would've kicked myself if anything went wrong with it. Spent a few dollars more to get one with much better reviews. Can't understand (so couldn't the cashier) why the store in town wanted more for the extended warranty, $110 vs $100 than the store I did the exchange at. Will be busy doing the install so wish me luck.
Jen, I forget dates, appts, reservations all the time. I also gotta have a shopping list for more than two items so I'm aware what you went through at the parking lot
I think it has a lot to do w/ the side effects of certain meds that peeps take when dealing with nerve disorders.
