don't be afraid to ask. i struggled alot at first because i wanted to use all the fancy loop de loop wicks that were posted in pics and they were not only a pain to do but just did not work for me.
Yes keep it simple to start with Alisanne. The only fancy thing I do is do a twisted wire setup. But other than that I keep it real simple.

thats what i mean when i say a loop, i fold both cut ends into the middle to make a circle. when wrapped with the wire it looks like a bowtie
Such a beautiful night. Absolutely clear skies, moonrise, and shooting stars. Jupiter should be up soon. Jupiter has been showing up unusually large lately....clearly visible to the eye. Makes me want to get a telescope....and a better camera. 
2x on the single loop. I have been using 3mm wick and 2mm wick this way. Just got some 30awg kanthal wire in and have built a few coils. Made one with 5 wraps on a doubled up 2mm wick for the metal 18490 ERA. Came out to 1.1 ohms. Needless to say the kick came out real fast and I don't suggest more than a 2 second pull. Crazy. Vapor.

Well at 5 wraps and 3.7v you have lots of coil surface area and it's actually only around 12watts. All I vape is fruity vapes. I usually vape at 12w on the VVW with an ERA and pink spot
