Evenin' REOnauts!

So, last night I had a pisser of a bout of heartburn, and when it came back this morning, I had my wife take me to the doctor to see if there was anything better than TUMS to deal with it. To my surprise, he threw me into an ambulance and sent me to the ER.

Turns out the heartburn was a heart attack. So, now I'm sitting in the hospital with a shunt in my heart and trying to type with sensors all over my fingers and IV's in my hands. I have to stay here overnight, but hopefully will be out in time for tomorrow's vape meet.
 Oh my goodness!
I'm so happy you didn't try to tough that one out! So good to hear you are alive and relatively well...but I hope you are released soon. Sending healing vibes your way....and a ton of Strength & Love to your Lady Wife.

Wow. So glad you are okay. Been thinking about you a lot. Keep forgetting to send your Tshirt. Do you need a smaller size now?

I am on high BP medicine now. Hopefully I won't be in your place anytime soon.

Thinking healing thoughts.
I haven't lost any weight yet, and historically this is not my long suit, so 4x if you have it, whatever's biggest if you don't. Thanks!

I'm on high bp meds too - but I've been known to forget to take them for days at a time. That'll have to stop, of course. Keep on 'em.

Crapola dude! I was just typing a PM to you about DIY juice! Take some time to recoup homey. I don't want to have to pour out any of this Colt I am drankin.
When it's my time to go, I'd much rather my homies curb a yoohoo instead of a beer! Today, however, is not that day.

Eating better and exercising gets you one of theses smileys... Worrying about making a Vapefest after what you just went thru gets you one of these...:glare: Seriously maybe some rest and Im sure there will be other vape meetings.
I'm in charge of the meets, a responsibility I don't take lightly. If I can be there, I will be!

OH No Dave! Have they said if it was a mild attack, how much damage was done to your heart? I've been there, it is so scarey! I hope it was mild, and that some stents will be the extent of what you need!!!!!
They haven't talked numbers, but they said there was permanent damage. I was scolded hard for not going to the ER last night, the damage would have been less if I had. Live and learn, I thought it was heartburn - it was nothing like heart attacks are depicted in books and movies.

I see you graduated from the school of 'walk it off'. Tums for a heart attack?
I am so glad you are in good spirits and it wasn't even more serious. Listen to the docs and get better. Positive vibes coming from this way too.
more than that, I graduated with a degree in 'rub some dirt on it and get back in the game'!

Thanks again for all the well wishes, everyone. I'll be ok!

Good Evening everyone, I have just been reading a while to catch up. I am sending healing vibes to all who need them.

I love the pup Roger :)
We are dog-less here for the first time in about 20 yrs. Ellen moved out a week or so ago and the two dogs here were hers, so they went with her. So did the rats :) Anyway, all we have now is the hedgehog and 2 guppies. We are taking a dog break for a bit. When we do get one it will be hopefully a labradoodle. In the mean time the baby doesn't know it yet but her Dad is getting her a young cockatiel next week from a customer who is a breeder. Not sure I like the bird idea yet or not , I have never had one. I am more a furry mammal person LOL.

Ok Off to bed now, have a good night everyone.

Oh cockatiels are so much fun i suggest you get two they need lots of attention and love or they go crazy though hence why 2 is a good idea so they keep each other company. mine used to go everywhere with me riding on my shoulders went driving to the bar etc

 I'm so happy for Ellen! I'm sure she's excited about getting out there!

A word or two about birds...they are fantastic pets...they can show affection just as well as any dog...they kiss and cuddle and whisper sweet sounds in your ear. However, they require a ton of attention...they are like toddlers. You may want to look them up and see what mischief they can get into if they are neglected. From experience I can tell you to keep the cage far enough away from the wall they can't reach the wall. Keep a regular bed time for them. If you are not a fan of high pitched chirping and squawking, this may not be the right pet. Oh, and they bite occasionally. Nothing that will cause permanent damage, but something to be aware of.

Hey Jackie :D You better take Darrel's advice and get two!

We had one and it drove me insane, it copied the phone ringing, the microwave beeping, my kids shouting their heads off and half a football song someone taught it. "oh when the Saints go march" was as much as it learnt before it was relocated to a new and loving home lol

Just saying :)

They are trouble makers for sure  I had so much fun with mine if not for the dogs I'd get a couple more.

I also used to do only a partial wing clip so they could still fly but not too far as they will take off and they will play games with you when your trying to catch them which isn't so bad in the house but outside is a different story

These are what we see flying around at times. Were yours the same as this?

He looks like my Buddy he was the male :) funny I didn't realize they were Cinamon cockatiels but cinamon was the girls name

Pretty name too :) I think Nyxie needs to have a long chat to you about the Cockatiel, I think my mistake may have been in only having one.

Time to start dinner bbl :)
